Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

Because engineering difficulty increases dramatically with width, depth, wave energy, and direct exposure to the open sea. The southern mouth of the gulf (your black line), which opens directly into the Arabian Sea, is much wider and gets stronger tidal currents, deeper waters, cyclones, and harsher marine conditions. Constructing a barrier there would require far greater material, cost, and maintenance while also disrupting major shipping movement.

An Indian W that didn’t get the eyeballs it deserved today is the Netherlands agreeing to share their expertise in water management at Afsluitdijk for India’s Kalpasar Project. What’s Afsluitdijk? The Netherlands kept getting flooded because seawater from the North Sea entered deep into the country. The 32-km-long dam and sea barrier called the Afsluitdijk solved this by acting as a giant wall across the sea (red line in image 1), blocking seawater and turning the area into a controlled freshwater lake. India is planning something similar with the Kalpasar Project. Gujarat faces water shortages, uneven rainfall, and large amounts of river water flowing into the sea without being stored. The project aims to solve this by building a giant barrier across the Gulf of Khambhat (red line in image 2) to store freshwater, improve irrigation, and supply water to cities and industries. The signing of the Letter of Intent between India and the Netherlands for technical cooperation on the Kalpasar Project could finally bring this project, pending since the 1970s/80s, to life.

Shocking: In Bihar’s Shahpur Patori station, a mother sheltered her 2 kids + 2 women in the narrow “Malhara” gap between platform & tracks as a train passed inches overhead. They crossed tracks instead of using the footbridge. Mother injured, but all 5 survived. Mother’s instinct saved them! 🙏

Very Sad Even After 79 years they can't able to create a UNIVERSITY in which they can admit their Son And Daughters. It is more of a shame than pride for their Parents. All in the photo comes from Family Politics. Can't say about the Politicians showing in image but Their Father Mother wanted India to be Self dependent Nation and they tried their bit. But their Next Gen dream didn't match their Parents Dream.

My father has been running a mechanical manufacturing business in Noida for 35 years. When he started, he had just one employee, Dinesh uncle. Papa taught him every machine, every process, every skill he knew. 35 years later, Dinesh uncle retired. And my father still very close friend with him. I grew up inside that factory. 3 shifts. Machines running 24 hours. And one thing my father always told me: “Never stand above your workers. Work with them.” Till today, every single day, my father himself sits on the press machine or cutter machine and works alongside the employees. He is almost 60 years old and still works on the machine line every day. He has never been the type of owner who sits in AC cabins shouting at people. He treats employees like family. During my brother’s marriage, every employee was invited like family. Every major function in our house, weddings, celebrations, difficult times, employees have always been included. That culture has existed in our factory for decades. During COVID, there were days when only me, my brother, my father and one engineer were operating the entire factory just to complete orders on time. And about salaries, my father has always paid above standard wages because he believes skilled workers deserve respect. So when I see people on X blaming every business owner or every “sethji” for the current worker shortage, I feel the reality is more complicated than that. This morning I asked my father why factories in Noida are facing such massive shortages of workers, machine operators, maids, CNC/VMC engineers, etc. He said a big reason is that the market changed completely in the last few years. Govt schemes, rising living costs, migration shifts, new low skill job opportunities, delivery apps, election period instability, sudden gas cylinder price hikes, everything together changed the workforce structure. Heavy machinery work takes years of training and discipline. Younger people today often prefer easier or faster paying jobs instead of spending years learning industrial skills. A lot of factories around us are struggling badly with the current worker shortage and many companies have dropped close to 50% workforce. We somehow still managed to retain around 85% of our employees because my father spent decades building loyalty and relationships with people instead of just treating them like labour. Yes, bad owners exist. Absolutely. But every founder, factory owner, or businessman is not the villain people on social media make them out to be. Some people genuinely spend their entire lives building businesses while standing on the factory floor with their workers every single day.
Zero@babbarshera

@Nikhil07x @kushgrwl @vinodchendhil I will tell you why.....the owner, the sethji and family of the business treat employees like their subjects, they finance their entire lavish life on company expenses and then draw salary, tell employees there's no money coming in.. Daily deliberate cribbing screws people up.

The Chinese have always been master secret-keepers.They guarded papermaking, silk, porcelain & even the legendary “magic mirror” tech for centuries — revealing it meant death.Today we celebrate their “dirt cheap” phones, solar panels & EVs.But fact: Most of it is Western-patented tech they reverse-engineered & flood the world with.Tomorrow? When it’s real cutting-edge AI, quantum, chips or defense tech…Why would secret-keepers suddenly become Santa Claus? They won’t. #AtmanirbharBharat isn’t optional — it’s survival.

President Trump’s summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping has been marred by multiple physical altercations just offstage. Among the incidents that took place Thursday: —> A White House staffer was trampled by Chinese reporters. —> A Secret Service agent was kept out of official events. —> American journalists were prevented from joining the presidential motorcade —> The dust-ups with the Chinese caused frustrations to boil over on the American side, with one member of the US delegation overheard calling it a “shit show.” —> The first incident came when an aggressive Chinese press pack charged into Trump’s morning bilateral meeting with Xi, knocking down and then stepping on a White House advance team member. —> The aide was bruised and shaken, though not seriously injured, and the incident caused her colleagues to loudly protest the Chinese media’s behavior. —>US reporters have been subject to strict controls — including limited access to bathrooms and the confiscation of water bottles. —> The next confrontation came in the afternoon at the Temple of Heaven, when Chinese officials refused to admit a Secret Service agent accompanying the presidential press pool into the secure area because the agent was carrying a firearm — standard practice for the protective agency. —>When the time came for Trump to depart, Chinese officials refused to allow the reporters to rejoin the presidential motorcade, prompting another round of loud arguments. At one point amid the repeated cries of “we have to go,” a White House official told the Chinese the Trump administration would never treat them this way if the roles were reversed. —> Finally, with Trump in the motorcade and waiting for the press, a White House staffer announced: “We are going.” That was the cue for the American contingent to push their way past the Chinese and run out the door. —->As the group crossed the temple grounds to catch the motorcade, another set of Chinese officials tried to stop them, running with their arms out toward the group. But the Americans pressed on and reached the line of cars that made up the presidential convoy. —> In order to protect vital data from hackers, President Trump, administration staff, and reporters have been told to user burner phones and email addresses during the two-day summit.
