They are super community oriented, have been willing to help me out in ways they don’t need to, and super kind. Their work practices are a little suspect though

I think it’s high time we all learn about router-level ad blockers. Myself included. I pay for Premium because I used to use YouTube Music and hate ads enough to justify paying for it, but does anyone know if PiHole or anything similar is still achievable? Or does YouTube change their ad APIs enough that it’s not even worth it?

@InnisSzn @GarybStealin Try one, they aren’t repulsive to where you think you wasted your money. They don’t have a ton of flavor, and they’re a lot less carbonated than any other seltzer. The flavors taste pretty much exactly how other seltzers do, just less intense. I stay away from grape & banana

@MadisonMessiah @MetamateDaz I get that buying houses used to be easier and the properties were dirt cheap, but many of the older generation took what they could for housing in their early 20s, like shared bathrooms, renting out just a room of a house, moving in with strangers, ect.

If you stay on the lower side of 1-3k rent you only need 36-40k a year to qualify and that’s very doable on a single income with a $17-$20 p/hr job. The problem is that those aren’t the apartments you want; Which is why you did the math on the higher end of that scale. Nobody wants to hear this, but It’s about renting what you can afford. If you want one of the more expensive apartments you could get roommates or work a second job or find a way to generate passive income. I want to live in tthe biggest and best house in my neighborhood too, but I can’t afford it so I own the house I can afford to pay the mortgage on. It’s an important lesson to learn, to live within your means, and I am in no way saying it is easy to accomplish or that certain folks don’t have the odds stacked against them by an unfair system, but it’s the system we got.

I’m sorry, but the whole “income must be 3x rent,” but rent is $1k-3k a month??? Who tf is out here getting paid $70 an hour???
