Appreciate the level of thought here, this is a fair read. You’re right that if HermesOS stayed as a deploy or hosting layer, the risk from Nous would be real and hard to defend against. The direction is less about competing at the framework level, and more about becoming the layer where agents are actually operated over time, with workflows, operators, and distribution built around that. That’s a different problem to solving the framework itself. I’ve outlined that direction in more detail in the roadmap if you want the full picture, but it ultimately comes down to execution from here. It doesn’t remove the risk, but it shifts the question from “who owns the base” to “where agents actually run and get used.”
