JUST IN: 🇺🇸 $11 trillion Vanguard to allow clients to access cryptocurrency ETFs and funds starting tomorrow - Bloomberg.

@chang_defi Being an L1 is a bug, not a feature. An L1 is just an Ethereum L2 without any of the security and verifiability parts. Your conclusion may be correct but in the opposite direction.

A fundamental problem with ETH valuation is that ethereum's primary uses cases are largely external to ETH's market value. Ethereum can be very useful, its apps can garner great revenue, and ETH can still be low price -- or vice versa -- there is little link between them. OTOH, Bitcoin's main use case is as a store of value, which is strongly linked to its price. And Bitcoin's basic design is far more suited to this use case, so ETH can't just mimic it, it has to rely on other use cases poorly linked to its price.

@MartinShkreli @commonsenseplay $open , $joby, $ionq? Brother you went from 100% ytd to 33%. Your smarter than this. Why even try to argue with me when you literally lost money. I actually agree with you on a lot of these shorts, but your timing is off on them

The internet has been completely shut down in Afghanistan, according to our internal data. Our tools help to bypass censorship, but here access has been cut off. We stand against acts like this and believe that both privacy & freedom of speech are human rights. (Timezone CEST)

1/9) Ethereum is dying while L2's dance on its grave ETH cannot sustain high fee revenue because it lacks the capacity At the same time, L2s are seeing record highs in usage & fees while they lobby to keep ETH's capacity down! That is what makes it a parasitic relationship: 🧵

The Bank of England is proposing a cap on individual stablecoin holdings, limiting ownership to just £10,000–£20,000 per person in the name of “systemic risk.” This is absurd, and we need to push back against this kind of regulation. Stablecoins issued onchain do not pose greater risks than traditional electronic money issued on more fragile electronic databases. ft.com/content/d80b21…

i never took the dead internet theory that seriously but it seems like there are really a lot of LLM-run twitter accounts now
