To be honest, I don't really know how to set people's expectations accurately. Some people seem to want AAA graphics quality from a tiny indie studio, and they let us know that in every YouTube video comment they make. 😅
I think we'll punch above our weight, don't get me wrong. I brought on my brother just to improve visuals and that's what he's focused on.
But I'm also much more interested in investing in compelling gameplay that stands the test of time, rather than just pretty graphics.
And we only have the time we have. If this game is to ever come out, we'll have to make some tradeoffs somewhere.
That's enough of that. Back to work!

This will forever be among my favorite things Ive had the honor of capturing.
In 2021 Wally Funk finally went to space after a lifetime of trying. After landing, eating lunch, being in a press conference, and then in a photo op, she turned to leave, finally done with a monumental day.
But, as everyone walked away from the rocket that booster their capsule she paused, turned, and took a moment to soak it all in. This is that moment.
Be like Wally. Never give up, and when you do finally succeed, soak it in.

She became the youngest of the Mercury 13, outperforming nearly every test put in front of her, and ultimately, the only one of the thirteen to have ever reached space. On NS-16, sixty years later, Wally made history as the oldest astronaut at the time and remains the oldest woman to ever fly to space. It was a moment six decades in the making. We were humbled to be part of her journey. Her story will continue to inspire generations of future explorers. Fly Wally, Fly. 🚀

One of my (pilot) students had a flap failure in a training aircraft, and instead of using the POH to find the correct speeds, he asked ChatGPT, Which gave him answers that was 5 knots too low. Asked why he used ChatGPT, he said ‘well otherwise I would have to find the page’

HOT TAKE: Penalty shootouts are retarded in soccer. Just let them play another 15 minutes. If nobody scores they play another 15 after that. Repeat until a point is scored. Penalty shootouts seem too random and luck based. It invalidates the earlier skill based play of the game.

One of the silver linings to come from the end of physical media gaming in 2028 is that it *may* be possible to collect all the physical media ever made. Like a collection could *actually* be complete, you could actually collect everything ever officially physically produced.
