As drivers, NYC is our workplace. That’s why universal access to restrooms has been high on our policy agenda since 2022. Thank you @NYCMayor and @NYC_DOT for getting it done!

Public bathrooms matter. @NYCMayor is investing $4 million to bring modular public restrooms to NYC—because seniors, parents, delivery workers, and everyone deserves access to safe, reliable bathrooms. Proud to partner on this initiative utilizing our public spaces.

Co-op drivers have due process rights and just cause. If our little co-op can do it, @Uber @lyft @DoorDash and all the billionaire-backed platforms definitely can too. Let’s do this, @NYCCouncil!

@NYCCouncil @NYTWA @CentralLaborNYC @voteshekar @JustinBrannan @NYCSpeakerAdams @NYCComptroller @ZohranKMamdani @RepAOC @JumaaneWilliams We won’t let multibillion-dollar app companies divide us. @workersjusticep and @LosDeliveristas stand united in solidarity with @NYTWA and all app-based workers fighting for just-cause protections. 🗳️ @NYCCouncil: Vote YES on Intros 276-A & 1332

Many hospitality workers rely on rideshare and many drive for rideshare. Rideshare is important to our industry! That's why we stand in solidarity with the drivers organizing a co-op and encourage all riders to download Co-op Ride. Scan the QR code to download now.

What’s missing on this picture?? DRIVERS!!! Council remains steadfast that Minneapolis can be a city that provides safe and affordable services for riders and ensures minimum wage for drivers. Corporate pressure is not an acceptable reason to undermine basic workers rights.

"Optimistic ride-hailing startups say they can easily pay drivers the minimum wage passed in Mpls, while offering riders and drivers a similarly seamless experience with apps. Some even say they can do so while providing cheaper rates than Uber and Lyft." minnesotareformer.com/2024/04/05/254…

@camueller58 @robin4mpls Hi Frankie- you may have selected NYC as your service area instead of Minnesota. Vehicle onboarding is not live yet for Minnesota. If you DM us your phone number we can troubleshoot your account.

@robin4mpls @TheDriversCoop The drivers coop app is horrible I can't enter my vehicle because the app shuts down when I press the vehicle button. I don't trust the app if I can't even enter my info to drive. There were other issues too.

"It’s the beginning of a new era of justice in the rideshare industry. Minnesota drivers are excited to start a driver-owned rideshare cooperative that delivers high quality, affordable services while empowering, instead of exploiting drivers." -Eid Ali of @TheMulda
The Minnesota Star Tribune@StarTribune

A group of activist Uber and Lyft drivers announced a campaign to start a driver-owned rideshare co-op, with the goal of filling the void that would be left if the two rideshare giants make good on their vow to leave next month. startribune.com/some-uber-and-…

Uber and Lyft are both planning to leave Minneapolis on May 1st, the day a minimum wage for drivers goes into effect. So the worker-owned rideshare service @TheDriversCoop says they're going to expand to Minneapolis by May 1st.

Today City Council voted 9-4 to pass a $15 minimum wage for rideshare drivers. I'm honored to have stood with @TheMulda as they've tirelessly worked to win $15/hr over the last 18 months and finally close a loophole that Uber and Lyft have used to exploit drivers in Mpls.
