I was there. People were stunned. They didn't know what was going on and what to do. I hit the ground with my wife and a lot of other people, but I had to tell several others to get down. It was unbelievable and surreal. Just to clarify, I'm a 65 year old Army veteran and have shot most of my life.

Horrible stomach pains like I was being stabbed with a white hot knife this afternoon convinced me to go to the ER. My least favorite activity of all.. Apparently umbilical hernias are pretty common. I found that out when they said that’s what I have. The doc shot me full of morphine and pushed the parts back where they belong. It’s a little tender but it’s amazing he was able to do that. Will follow up with outpatient surgery this week. 🙏🏻 Relief face:

Ex Taliban commander pleads guilty NYC. You won’t see this on the MSM news but that was the Ambush that KIA my brothers and interpreter. June 26th 2008. Please share this. Our brothers died in this ambush. Joey still lives with the aftermath every day.

Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family. What happened next honestly caught me off guard. By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway. For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes. I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name. But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten. After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too. Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen. This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for. And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸

If you are friends with me, you should be aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am hopeful that I will receive more responses, as this is a pressing concern. Twenty-two Veterans succumb to their struggles daily. May I request that two friends or family members copy and repost this message? Someone's life may depend on it. ❤️‍🩹 Call: Veterans Crisis Line Dial 988 then press 1 OR Veteran's Hotline 800-273-8255 I am asking for just two individuals to respond with 'done'.

A friend of mine Aaron Henderson. I was on a dive Team with him for a few months until I came to the discovery that being a Diver absolutely wasn’t for me. Aaron wasn’t only a diver, but was such a straight up GB that after he was killed 5th GRP (A) discovered in his wishes that every picture in his memorial service be him with a beard. Group honored his demands. He volunteered to deploy to AFG with an ODA that was short a man. We lost him to an IED in Zombalay Village. He was the best of us, selfless and a wonderful family man.

This Memorial Day, I’m thinking of my dad. He gave 28 years to this country. Distinguished Service Cross. Silver Star. Purple Heart. Multiple Bronze Stars for valor in Vietnam. The most decorated graduate The Citadel ever produced. A warrior. A leader. But most of all, my hero. Not a day goes by where he hasn’t been on my mind. Rest in peace, Dad. And to all who gave everything for this country. 🇺🇸

Ma’am, For all the absolute rubbish that is being thrown on you as you and your husband stare down his diagnosis - I hope maybe you see this. YOU, ma’am, are the embodiment of a true PATRIOT - full of compassion, honor, integrity, love for your country and your fellow Americans. I pray God blesses you abundantly and it is HIS peace that fills your hearts and HIS wisdom that operates the hands of your husband’s medical team. This country owes you a huge debt of gratitude not just for your service in the military - but also for standing on principle during great adversity and joining the administration in a sincere and authentic effort to make this country better. I know the Dems are loud but they DO NOT speak for the majority of this country - otherwise we’d be calling Kamala Harris “Madame President.” We, the American people, have grateful hearts and are sincerely praying for your husband’s recovery. God bless you.

It was an honor to visit your husband’s grave today on your behalf, and to pay my respects. It was wonderful to see the beautiful flowers representing many others who did the same. Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the loved ones they left behind. Thank you for your service and sacrifice @SharrellAnne2 🙏🏽

Republicans do not need to call Democrats "Nazis," because "Democrat" is bad enough. -The Trail of Tears. -Slavery. -The Civil War. -Jim Crow. -The KKK. -Concentration camps for Americans of Japanese descent. -Opposition to all civil rights legislation. -Embrace of Marxism. -Racial eugenics via 66 million aborted babies. -The Re-Racialization of American society in the 21st Century. In most nations throughout history, that's enough for a political party to be outlawed.
