@LibertyNGuns @ibeengolfin Mostly agree on Vortex, don't quote me on this but I believe that their Razor HDs on gen 2/3 are Japanese (USA-adjacent imo) and the AMG UH-1 is supposedly US-made. Also SRO is kinda lame. Big window < durability.

At least with this setup you get a really good 4x below the RDS. Costs about the same as the riser/FTC comboes once you price everything together. In fact, I think this is cheaper.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, I don’t follow half the trends everyone else seems obsessed with. I don’t spend 30 hours debating URGIs, and I don’t argue about optic height. Because… it’s stupid. If there was a list of stuff that would fit under the “you don’t need more gear, You need more training” Optics height and LAM mounting is quite literally on the TOP of it. When I first saw the Hydra mount, it actually made sense to me. I saw it on an MP7 and thought, okay, that tracks. Small PDW, limited rail space, need to stack a LAM and an optic cool, that’s a real constraint with a real solution. Then it exploded in popularity and suddenly it’s on full-length ARs with more than enough rail space for a LAM & optic, and at this point I genuinely don’t know what problem it’s solving anymore. Honestly, slightly off-topic here but I don’t even understand the optics-height discourse beyond basic personal preference. I’ve never mounted a red dot and thought, man, I’d be so much faster if this was 0.05 inches taller. No, I just recognize that I suck and deal with it 😂 Anyway, whenever I post stuff like this, for pure engagement bait. So please, feel free to write a four-paragraph essay explaining why optic height is actually life-or-death. Or someone can drop the classic “none of this matters, only cardio.” And I’m sure someone else will somehow bring up Israel. Enjoy.

@danefont Conceptually, I like gambits for the same reason I like the game “Mouse Trap.” Problem is the system doesn’t have any options for oddball creative goofiness. If it had ways to get really creative it might have worked. Best to just play the video game instead of watching though.

I’m wrong about a plethora of things. My opinions on final fantasy is not one of them. The gambit system was a horrible idea.
