So Hobbs stated that provisions in the SAVE act will cost Washington state 40 million dollars. After all the failures and losses of the state and the MASSSIVE wasteful spending on administration heavy failures i dont see a problem; they better figure it out. I do see an opportunity for them to fail on purpose for political theater.

Well this just in: The Legislative Ethics Board has dismissed a complaint regarding Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon being drunk while debating the operating budget in a committee hearing. The complaint suggested it was in conflict of interest. The LEB said it was more of a decorum issue. However it appears no further action will be taken by the House.

They’ll go after @Swank4America for stating trans women are men, but Joe Fitzgibbon gets a pass for “lack of decorum” when he was clearly blotto at a hearing on an income tax.

Only now as the project finishes are people realizing that this was a bicycle lane project and did diddly squat to improve transit mobility. Seattle @seattledot has a habit of naming projects that aren’t improving what they are set out to fix.

Seattle is spending more than $128 million on the new RapidRide J Line on Eastlake. Yet a big stretch of it won’t even have dedicated bus lanes. The extra car lanes will not. 🔮 Sound Transit's $185B light rail program — that's $55,000 per man, woman, and child in the tax district, for those keeping score — will announce another "unexpected" delay. The tax bill will arrive on schedule. 🔮 A new cross water tax will be created to fund this boondoggle as well as the super successful electric ferry program 🔮 Someone in Olympia will propose a solution. It will involve a new tax. 🔮 Your property taxes will also go up multiple times to fund the resulting shortfalls 40 years. One party. Unchecked power. This is what it costs. Small price to pay for such efficiency

Wasn’t this project supposedly completed years ago? Why are metal plates still on the bus lane? Is it incompetence from @seattledot? SDOT is more interested in building bike lanes than actually fixing stuff that should have been built correctly the first time.
