@nickvaldez Question on $ADA returning to ATH: If Hoskinson says "Cardano peaked as a Layer 1" and growth requires 10-100x ecosystem expansion over "3-5 years," what's the bull case for $3+ in 2026? Seems like '26 is build year, not pump year? Is it 3-5yrs just to return to ATH?

📢 NOW SOLVED: Update on complexity issue with Ledger devices affecting Bitcoin claims. Glacier Drop participants can now claim for all eligible Bitcoin addresses managed by the same Ledger wallet. Previously, when trying to make a claim based on multiple eligible Bitcoin addresses controlled by the same Ledger-managed wallet, the portal would only recognize the first used address, and only for the first Bitcoin account. For multiple eligible Bitcoin addresses connected to a Ledger device, an individual claim must be made for each address. Check your eligibility at: claim.midnight.gd

For those curious about glacier drop support for ada on ledger devices, there is an issue with ledger's implementation of CIP-8 message signing. It apparently only supports signing messages up to 31 bytes whereas the GD payload is 251 bytes. This is a cardano specific issue with ledger's software that we asked them to update in July and they haven't given us a timeline for their update. In the meantime, we have a hack that we are deploying that is common in the NFT space by signing a null transaction with the 251 byte GD payload as metadata. This will only have to be done for ada ledger users. The glacier drop portal will automatically update to add this path. I will remind everyone that the glacier drop process is a 2 month event. There is no difference redeeming today or a few weeks from now. If you are one of the impacted people, then come back towards the end of the month and try again. No one lost their night or place in line. These edge cases are the unfortunate realities of launching something to eight different ecosystems and many different wallet modalities. There are certain experiences that take a little bit more time because we cannot control third parties.

@DanTheNFTMann @MidnightNtwrk It could be that your tokens ADA, BTC, ETH.... are stored on multiple wallets and the hard wallet is only showing to the full balance and generating an empty wallet address when clicking receive. Go to your transactions and enter the wallet addresses you received tokens to.

The development team working on the Glacier Drop identified that neither one of the two hardware wallets tested currently supports the specific message-signing standard required to verify ownership of Cardano (ADA) network addresses. As a result, hardware wallet support for ADA claims will not be available at the time of launch. This is actively being worked on and we will aim to keep the community updated on progress.
