Ex-MP Nick Brown was suspended from Labour in 2022 for something that happened ~25 years earlier. Is it possible that the denials Brown made in 1998 weren’t entirely true? And how old was his boyfriend?

Someone replied to me earlier that he had not lost his EU 'Free Movement" after Brexit and to prove that to me he had just returned from a weekend break in Lisbon.

This is the best video of the Manchester Airport assault of the police I have seen. Today the retrial of Mohammed Fahir Amaaz & Muhammad Amaad begins for a third assault. PC Lydia Ward had her nose broken & PC Ellie Cook was punched too. Strong cousin marriage vibes.

We’re all in a toxic relationship with government. It creates problems, then sells us solutions. We’ve stopped asking ‘Can I do this?’ and started asking ‘Why hasn’t government done it?’
➡️Britain isn’t broken. Big Government is killing the dream. And it’s time to break up. My piece in the Sunday Times below👇

Couldn’t buy a coffee from Greggs just now because they were busy dealing with a guy who was trying to loot all the sandwiches. Went to Costa instead, where they now have a bouncer standing next to the fridge. 🥴

What utter crap. Stop listening to lefty academics, and start enforcing the law. And by the way: if you talk to kids, you’ll learn they’re even more worried than adults about feral behaviour and crime. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/a…

Keir needs to put Ed Miliband back in his box. We should back British industry over dirtier imports. Use the North Sea rather than higher emission foreign gas. And make electricity cheap. Common sense over ideology. Ed is doing the opposite.

Truth is now considered a right-wing conspiracy. That’s the chilling line from Melanie Phillips that stopped me in my tracks. She explains how we’ve reached a point where simply stating observable reality — whether it’s basic biology defining a woman or pushing back against blanket accusations that all white people are inherently bad — gets you branded as evil. Not wrong. Evil. Therefore you must be silenced, cancelled, or erased. No debate. No evidence allowed. She calls it cultural totalitarianism: a Manichean worldview where one ideology claims a monopoly on goodness, progress, and reason itself. Dissent isn’t argued with — it’s treated as a moral threat that has to be removed. The deepest irony? In an era that smugly ditched religion in the name of superior rationality, we’ve ended up rejecting reason, evidence, and open inquiry altogether. We’re so “rational” we’ve dispensed with the very tools of rationality. It doesn’t add up. Her take has me wondering how we got here — and how quickly disagreement turned into moral excommunication. Anyone else seeing this pattern play out in conversations lately? Where have you felt truth itself become off-limits?

Yes it will. Here’s how: STEP 1: Drill oil & gas in the North Sea🛢️ STEP 2: Oil companies pay tax as usual (~£2.5bn/yr) STEP 3: Use that revenue to cut household bills RESULT: Lower energy bills ⚡️ Miliband pretending not to know this is deliberate stupidity to avoid a u-turn.

'Those people who say new exploration licenses will somehow create huge amounts of energy for us... I mean, they're just wrong' Ed Miliband told ITV News that drilling for oil in the North Sea wouldn't bring down Britain's energy bills

Rory, I am married to a Muslim; you talk crap about pretty much everything. Many, many liberal Muslims, esp. women, actively despair at the hardline clerics, factions and Muslim Brotherhood fellow travellers that we are importing into the UK without a thought as to consequences, to say nothing of the quantities of illegal migrants from cultures that practise a) child marriage, b) open hostilty to non-Muslims and c) paedophilia in various cultural disguises. And we haven't even touched on cultural issues with legal migration. I know you are called Florence of Arabia, but may be talk to women living in some areas of London now. Keep going, John Cleese.

Britain now has some of the highest energy prices in the developed world, despite sitting on huge reserves of oil and gas. Why? Because we’ve pursued Net Zero at any cost, even though the UK produces less than 1% of global emissions. High energy costs drive manufacturing out of Britain. Businesses simply move somewhere cheaper often to China, where companies are heavily subsidised and able to undercut the global market. Meanwhile the United States has done the opposite. By using its own energy, including shale gas, it has driven costs down and brought industry back home. We could be doing the same: develop the North Sea, consider properly regulated fracking, and bring energy prices down. Instead, we’re refusing to use the resources beneath our own feet and our economy is paying the price.

What has caused Britain's decline? "We've been stupid in opening up as we have done to China. "We've been stupid in ensuring that our energy costs are high." @iancollinsuk @MPIainDS

I see that the sectarian Muslim MPs, the Green Party & pro-Palestine activists are all up in arms over Israel’s death penalty for Palestinian convicted terrorists. When Iran executed the 19-year-old champion, Saleh Mohammadi for protesting the Khamenei regime, they were silent.
