What's with the obsession over the Prime Minister's in-flight meal costs?
We see the total amounts, but we have no idea how many people those meals cover, whether they include staff and security, or how they compare with previous prime ministers.
A meaningful comparison would be the cost per person and how those figures stack up against past governments. Without that context, the numbers alone don't tell us much.

The ban on U.S. alcohol in Canada is now almost 500 days old.
What have Canadians gained from it?
Not a single tariff has disappeared.
Not a single meaningful concession has been secured.
Meanwhile, consumers have lost choice, retailers have lost sales, less competition, and the trade relationship has only become more strained.
Symbolism isn't a trade strategy.

Update 2.5 months later. 6 phone calls and a trip to Pearson airport baggage desk, my bag was compensated. This isn’t customer service or support. This is designed to make people give up. @AirCanada

@TheHunterChef @cityoftoronto Your spot is on Dundas West - a predominantly walking street for all businesses! I’ve lived here for YEARS, it is not hard to park on numerous side streets surrounding you within a 5 min walk MAX! Plus, you enjoyed your patio in those parking spots, no? 🙄

The World Cup is actually hurting parts of the city and its businesses. @cityoftoronto has taken away street parking in front of our businesses and blocked lanes for bus only driving. Customers are telling us they are avoiding coming into the city due to the added congestion.
