What an amazing day to give God Glory. America 🇺🇸 nation that has the undisputed highest nation for strength, power, wealth, natural resources unparalleled in history goes to God in prayer. Two take aways for India: 1) Pete Hegseth declared America exists and gets its rights from Loving and benevolent God in Jesus Christ. 2) the cabinet prays everyday for the most powerful man on earth “God grant him wisdom to see what is right and the courage to do it” If you are Christian no matter where you live , these two things are true, we get our rights from God and not from government, for wisdom to see and do what is right . May the Holy Spirit convict, guide, empower us to this end. youtu.be/xTsDyaXoCO0?si…

Courage to give when it hurts 👏👏👏👏 because of Surya Namaskar and yoga 🤪 wait the untold story is Arjuna the side kick to the main character flawed so badly he by cheating literally steals from Karna. Yoga and Surya allow lying, stealing. @HinduAmerican lying , cheating, celebrating lies in the guise of giving when it hurts is not the American 🇺🇸 way! Stop lying!

He knew exactly who stood before him. The beggar's request was impossible. Indra, who was disguised as a beggar, wanted the golden armor and the radiant earrings he had been born with, and he would walk onto the battlefield vulnerable, stripped of the divine protection that had made him invincible. He knew it was a test. Knowing it would end in defeat, he still said yes. With International Yoga Day approaching, and as part of our broader reflection through #HinduAmericanAt250, we continue our journey through the stories behind Surya Namaskar, now turning to one of the most powerful and tragic figures in the Mahabharata. It is the story of Karna. Long before he became one of the greatest warriors of his age, Karna began life as a secret. As a young princess, Kunti had been granted a sacred boon allowing her to invoke any deva. Curious and unaware of the consequences, she called upon Surya, the radiant Sun. Surya appeared before her in all his brilliance, and through his blessing, Karna was born to Kunti. The child entered the world already marked by destiny. He bore a natural golden armor (kavacha) and radiant earrings (kuṇḍala), gifts from his celestial father. But fear overshadowed wonder. Unable to face the social consequences of an unwed teenage motherhood, Kunti placed the infant in a basket and set him afloat upon a river. He was found and raised by a humble charioteer's family, growing up unaware of his royal and divine lineage. Yet something within him always shone. Karna became renowned for his courage, his skill in battle, and his unwavering loyalty. But above all, he was celebrated for his generosity. Each morning, after offering prayers to Surya, he vowed never to refuse anyone who sought his help. Even the devas took notice. On the eve of war, Surya appeared to Karna in a dream and warned him that Indra would come disguised as a beggar to ask for his armor and earrings. When Indra arrived, Karna recognized him immediately. Still, a promise was a promise. Without hesitation, he gave away the very gifts that would have saved his life. Stripped of his celestial protection, Karna rode into Kurukshetra armed only with his skill, his convictions, and his honor. He would fall in battle. But Karna is remembered not for how he died, but for how he lived: loyal in the face of rejection, cost was everything. Many will practice Surya Namaskar this #InternationalYogaDay. Beyond the physical postures lies a rich Hindu tradition shaped by sacred mantras and stories like Karna's, reminding us that true strength is found not merely in power, but in integrity, compassion, and the courage to give even when it hurts.

250 years into the American experiment, Americans increasingly embrace religious diversity. That’s good news for a nation founded on the principle that people of different faiths, and no faith, can coexist with mutual respect and equal freedom. Pluralism remains one of America’s greatest strengths. Now that’s a story worth celebrating. 🇺🇸 religionnews.com/2026/06/17/new…

@HinduAmerican 😂 the pilgrims who came and started America as we know it today, never believed in idols and traditions. They believe in the One True God Jesus Christ. It’s hilarious to attach Ram and Ravana story to 250years of America , Christian nation from its birth.

He had lost almost everything.  His kingdom, his home, and his wife had been taken from him. The war had stretched on for too long, and the greatest hero of his age stood on the battlefield with nothing left to give. This # InternationalYogaDay, as the world rolls out its mats and salutes the Sun, few will know the story of the prince who once turned to that same Sun in his darkest hour. It is the story of Rama. Exiled from Ayodhya, Rama accepted his fate without bitterness. His wife, Sita, and brother, Lakshmana, joined him in the forest. But tragedy struck when Ravana, the powerful king of Lanka, abducted Sita. Grief-stricken yet determined, Rama embarked on a journey to rescue her. There, a great war began. Ravana proved to be a formidable adversary. As the battle wore on, Rama grew weary. Separated from Sita and burdened by the weight of responsibility, he found himself physically and emotionally exhausted. At that critical moment, the sage Agastya appeared before him. Seeing Rama's weariness, Agastya taught him the Aditya Hridayam, the "Heart of the Sun", a sacred hymn invoking Surya, the radiant source of life, energy, and strength. Āditya Hṛdayam puṇyam sarva śatru vināśanam jayaāvaham japennityam akṣayyam paramaṃ śivam Descended from the Solar Dynasty, Rama turned toward the Sun with reverence and recited the hymn with devotion. As the verses flowed from his lips, his mind grew clear. His sorrow lifted. His fatigue dissolved. Filled with renewed courage and purpose, Rama lifted his bow once more, returned to the battlefield, and ultimately defeated Ravana. Rama's story reminds us that even the strongest among us experience fear, grief, and exhaustion. Strength is not the absence of struggle; it is the ability to rise again with hope and determination. As we celebrate yoga's global impact and as #HinduAmericanAt250 continues deeper conversations about Hindu traditions, many will begin their practice with Surya Namaskar, the Sun Salutation. Beyond the physical lies a rich Hindu tradition shaped by sacred mantras, gratitude, and stories that have inspired generations for centuries.

@CNNnews18 @AnchorAnandN You cannot stop God from the good news of Jesus Christ. Why : because it is from God. It is free! no money, no going around the temple 20times, no guru or god offerings. Jesus promises new life by faith ALONE.

The question you ask is did it reflect the teaching of Christ? Do all Christian’s live to kill and take slaves ? NO There are the so called “Christians” who did evil things to other humans like slavery be called Christ followers - NO You judge Christianity by the life, ministry, teachings, His death and resurrection. Not by evil men who call themselves ✝️.

America 250: What does it mean to be a Hindu American? Ganesh Ramakrishnan details how the American ideals of liberty, equality, justice, and the pursuit of happiness find parallels within Hindu thought, in a thought-provoking piece. @IndiaAbroad_ "Dharma teaches responsibility, ethical conduct, and service to society. It encourages individuals to pursue excellence while remaining mindful of their obligations to family, community, and nation. The Hindu spiritual journey emphasizes the search for truth and self-realization. Likewise, the American experiment has always championed freedom of thought, conscience, and belief. Both traditions place tremendous faith in the dignity and potential of the individual. America celebrates freedom. Dharma teaches how freedom can be exercised responsibly." newindiaabroad.com/english/opinio…

@TheJonahProjec2 @CoHNAOfficial @IndiaAbroad_ Incorrect. The Varna system is fluid and not discriminatory. Manusmriti (10.65): "A Shudra attains the position of a Brahmin, and a Brahmin sinks to the position of a Shudra," implying that varna classification is mutable based on behavior & knowledge, not fixed at birth.

Then why do so many Hindu institutions have little connection to the traditions, values, and heritage they were created to preserve? @RahulDewanV2 raises a question every Indian should think about. An Indian flag was torn apart infront of Frisco City Hall, Texas amid anti-India chants and rhetoric during an immigration-related protest. That’s not “activism.” It’s xenophobia. No community should be targeted because of its heritage. Not in Texas. Not anywhere in America.
