@yonann My Macbook is simply a better product. It's better constructed, more durable, and Mac OS is infinitely more stable and ages better than Windows. I literally have a loaded gaming PC and my Macbook right next to each other on my desk, the Macbook is better and its not even close.

My friend pays $1,940/month for daycare. For one child. That’s more than her mortgage was five years ago. The daycare workers make $16/hour. They still buy supplies with their own money. The center has a waiting list 11 months long. She did the math. If she quits her job, they lose health insurance. If she keeps working, most of her paycheck disappears into childcare. So every morning she drops off her kid to go work mostly to afford dropping off her kid. We say people aren’t having enough children. Then we make raising one financially suicidal.

Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. • Starting price: $640,000 • Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive • Range: 280 miles (expected EPA) • Peak charging speed: 350kW • 122 kWh battery • 1,050 horsepower • 0-60mph: 2.4s • 800v • Four-door four-seater • Four electric motors • OLED screens • Weight: 4,982 lbs • Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm • Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car. • Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels • The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered • 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. Everyone improves on someone else’s work. Otherwise we wouldn’t have nasa, the first missile was Nazi. Deflectors created USA military technology. DARPA another Russian deflectors to create technology. China is innovating and improving USA technology… and in the future other will improve and innovate on the current technology. That’s just how technology evolves.

You're quoting stats from 30 years ago. And I'm not kidding. Stop it. You look ridiculous. I live here, taxes have made it impossible to be happy because we have to work all of the time to pay them. There's been no stats on life expectancy in 15 years. I don't see how we can still be 4th in quality of life; over taxation, regulations, fees and licensing, listed as a #1 in crime on Neighborhood Scout, meaning 99% of the American public is safer than we are. Dropped from #5 to #36 in education in the country. We are 42 in election security. We have looted by third world aliens.

@freep I went in there once, there were 4000 things on the menu, 6000 sq ft of space, 1 waiter and 1 customer (me). It was also like 95 degrees in the bathroom. Very strange experience. Someone lost a boatload of money on that place.
