@tomieinlove I suppose you’ve never discussed the experience with third and fourth generation Asian Americans— or learned to appreciate the great sacrifices of all of our immigrant pioneers…

The reason why Asian Americans tend to just write about tiger parent trauma or the struggles of smelling like tofu or whatever is because most Asian Americans have had very boring lives. There’s not much drama in Kumon. The history, the legacy, it’s all second-hand, third-rate.

@wholemars A $7.5b food chain owns the property for each major location, but first started with food courts. Similarly Tesla may eventually own all charging station properties, but currently shares free space with the parking lots— I imagine the same will be for CyberCabs temporarily.

Why doesn’t Uber just own all their cars and hire all the drivers? Why doesn’t McDonalds own all their stores?

@elonmusk @BigImpactHumans Optimus will likely be the solution— for example Kettleman City, a popular stop with lounge, closed down the coffee shop, and Starbucks next door even closed as well. Overhead of the labor is very cost prohibitive.

I wish there were little Tesla coffee shops at Supercharging stations. Humans could get charged up while their cars are charging. ☕️⚡️

@CEOAdam I’m hopeful that our theater culture will come back, but seats are nearly empty. People need human interaction— I highly encourage you to create a method where attendees uniquely interact with filmmakers for Q&A via your app. Also @letterboxd is eating your lunch.

@robotaxi Hopeful that Tesla includes FSD for all CyberCabs. Additionally individual sales offset their initial cost, and any car that enters the fleet extends profit share and ecosystem. Realistically at $0.20/mile profit, car would need to drive over 125-150k miles to break even...

@wholemars The most legible read is that Tesla will migrate FSD purchases for Luxe Package. Not certain if they’ll provide Luxe on 3/Y, but time will tell.

@wholemars @farzyness @elonmusk @Tesla Insurance will be impacted if vehicle owner is not liable for accidents while utilizing Unsupervised FSD. This is an additional cost that Tesla owners may have to contribute to. It’s not a one and done scenario.

1. When you buy the FSD package in full, you get access to all self-driving features your car can run. No need to pay more for anything. 2. Hardware 3 customers can transfer their FSD to a new hardware 4 car by the end of the quarter. No guarantee FSD transfer will be offered after that, but it might. 3. For hardware 3 customers who choose to keep their cars, they will receive a V14 lite software update, estimated to arrive in Q2 2026. IF Tesla determines that a hardware upgrade is required for full autonomy, that hardware upgrade will be provided to HW3 owners free of charge IF they purchased the FSD package in full. Tesla has not yet made a determination that a computer upgrade will definitely be required, but it is strongly suspected that one will be needed.

I really think @elonmusk and @tesla need to clarify a few things with FSD ASAP, since we’re clearly on the cusp of a step change in capability. We need clearly defined answers to the following: - If I spend $8k on FSD before Feb 14th, will that lock me in for Unsupervised FSD? Yes or no? If no, what capacity will I get locked into exactly? If no extra capability, is Tesla simply saying they will increase the price of Supervised? - FSD transfer ends March 31st. How does that impact HW3 owners that purchased FSD up front? Depending on the above re: FSD unsupervised, Tesla has said “they will take care of the owners”. What does that mean exactly?

@NotATeslaApp Whatever the price it should be bundled with all premium connectivity, Starlink (future models), Unsupervised Insurance, and possible complimentary charging. FSD is a wonderful experience, but every add-on should reflect a deeper appreciation of the loyal consumer base.

Once Tesla reaches Unsupervised FSD, do you think they could switch to a per-mile pricing model? Users would be able to drive themselves for free or pay a flat fee per mile driven by the vehicle.
