@ROMELLOWORLD What? Listen to the original again. Mary’s version was raspy, gritty and raw. Her voice worked well with the song and embodied its meaning. Beyoncé’s voice was too operatic and vibrato infused. Just a bit too theatrical.

@saradotxyz Wtf is she saying? How does being black make it irrelevant to control your breathing or being mindful of how your tongue position impacts how you sound?! All this does is disappoint me in Juilliard as I imagine she still graduated despite failing to understand these lessons.
