@Imalwaysright_2 @HerbWalsh10 @jimmymcbride1 Fair play, but millions of other people do 👍🏻 isn’t about following them, just something different

@TheManBrown @HerbWalsh10 @jimmymcbride1 No

Declan Rice completed 83 passes vs Atlético Madrid, the second-most by an English midfielder in a Champions League semi-final since records started (2003-04) 🪄
English

@_Ryan_Byrne_ @RegistaCall 83 passes and not one of them progressive going forward
English

@TheManBrown @RegistaCall How often does a 6 make key passes away from home in a ucl semi 😂

Now that everywhere is quiet and people are asleep, let me give my honest verdict on that match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
A lot of people around the world were hyping it “match of the decade,” “unbelievable game,” and all that. I won’t completely argue with them… if you’re only looking at the scoreline, maybe they have a point.
But if you can genuinely celebrate a game where two supposed elite teams concede goals like that, then something is wrong with how we’re viewing the game. There’s a reason it’s called football, not basketball or baseball where high scoring is the norm.
Let me put it from a defender’s perspective.
During my grassroots days, I played as a centre-back. If my team won a match but conceded 4 goals, trust me , me and my defensive partners would be hiding our faces in shame. No celebration, no excitement. Why? Because we failed at our primary responsibility. We didn’t do our job.
People forget that defending is also an art.
Look at the era of MSN vs BBC , arguably the greatest attacking rivalry of this century. Even with all that firepower on the pitch, you didn’t see these kind of reckless scorelines when they faced each other. Why? Because the defenders on both sides were just as elite and disciplined as the attackers.
So when a “big team” is leaking 4 or 5 goals in a single match, what exactly are you celebrating? Where is the pride? Where is the structure? That’s not dominance , that’s imbalance.
Personally, I will choose a solid 1–0 win over a chaotic high-scoring game any day, any time. That’s real football to me, control, discipline, and responsibility.
And here’s my honest conclusion: if Arsenal manage to get past Atlético Madrid, then I’m sorry , they will comfortably beat either of these teams in the final.
At this point, my only hope is that Atlético step up and knock them out 🙏🥹

🚨🎙️| Steven Gerrard on Bruno Fernandes vs Declan Rice:
🗣️ Bruno Fernandes is a top player, no doubt. But comparing him to Declan Rice is a stretch. You’re talking about a player who walked into Arsenal and immediately started competing for major honours season after season.
If Bruno was truly on that level, why has his team spent years hovering around mid-table and even flirting with relegation? Yes, he’s stepped up this season, credit to him for the numbers and assists.
But let’s not force comparisons where they don’t belong. Declan Rice impacts games, controls matches, and drives winning teams.
Simply put, Declan Rice is clear.”

English

@FergiesRightRef Between Bruno, Cunha, Sesko, Casemiro and Mbeumo we have 71 goals and assists in the league.
You do not support Manchester United.
English

@CoronaMaguire @shaunypizzle Can tell you don’t understand football, he had a split second to choose from Sesko or Mbeumo, he picks the wrong player it isn’t a goal
English

@shaunypizzle It’s shocking stuff even that so called assist tonight a 5 yard sideways pass omg not the striker having to sit defenders down and put it in the net it’s all about the clown with the 5 yard pass
English

@shaunypizzle @bugsjugs So you don’t want him to win it because he’s good at set pieces you’d rather it go to a player from a team who specialise in set pieces, and none of their players have been as good as Bruno, got it
English

@bugsjugs Someone from the premier league winners. No one else deserves it.
English

@FootyAccums final Dutch boost of the season, has to be the 4+ corners! Come onnnn
