I forgot to switch out my son’s tooth and leave money last night so instead of breaking the charade, I spent 90mins explaining that tooth fairies are federal employees and there’s currently a government shutdown.

Remember their social life is the ONLY thing that matters. I took all my oldest child’s name brand clothing. Jeans, shirts, Nikes, and replaced it all with cheapest of WALMART brand clothing. It was the best parenting move I ever had. It did multiple things, gained appreciation and did some SERIOUS humbling.

Cops threatened a man with a DUI, a field test, and a “cell‑phone while driving” charge — all while he was 3 feet from his driveway, barely leaving his own house. This is why people hate cops.

@SusieM414141 I still find it insane people think police legally have to explain to them anything and if they don’t believe they are guilty then nothing can be done.

A shoplifter’s tale! This woman is being questioned by police because she was caught stealing Nike merchandise at a department store. Now she’s arguing with the officers, speaking rapidly and deflecting. Why are they always on the phone? She could have just given up the items at the beginning and not made such a scene.
