@SteamTrader @GermanStrands I usually check user reviews on Metacritic in combination with some youtube gameplay videos / streamers to see if the game is actually any good if i buy a console game. On PC steam reviews are always helpful

MC scores are by far the least valuable metric when deciding to buy a game, I'm frankly baffled anyone would even consider it. The User part is heavily botted without proof of play, while the Media scores represents a tiny handful of personal opinions. The only aggregator worth anything at all would be Steam reviews, where you have thousands of real players with real logged times giving their detailed reviews. That said, aggregators in themselves serve only a superficial purpose. Only you can know what's good, games are ultimately a subjective medium.

@GermanStrands I used to not care , but after some pretty shit / bugged games came out that where way overhyped i usually go on Metacritic user reviews ( dont trust paid reviewers ) and watch some twitch stream or youtube videos before buying.
