I get it that smoke detectors have a lifespan but if they test themselves and pass why is Google forcing me to replace them? Any recommendations on smoke detectors?

@TechnoTimLive @MrJacks0n the circuitry itself tests ok but IIRC there is some isotope or something like that in the smoke sensor which has a life span. the only way to truely test a smoke alarm is with smoke :D which you can get in a spray can

@TechnoTimLive because they are likely hard-coded to expire 10 years from manufacturer date. when you buy them have to check the date just like buying milk lol they have a date stickered on them somewhere. I've always used first alert or Kidde CO+fire combination

There needs to be a better incentive. I’ve put in around 100 hours and I’m only at about 50% of the blueprints with plenty of quests still unfinished. I don’t mind the idea of a reset, but I really don’t want to start everything from scratch again until I have completed everything once. For context, I have a job and a family and I play solo only, so I can’t see myself moving on until I’ve collected all the blueprints and finished the quests. By the time I get there, there will probably be new content and quests to work through anyway. I still think blue prints should have limited uses, refreshed if you find a duplicate. But they would then carry over expeditions as they are constantly resetting anyways, but offer that sense of continuity and progression. @ARCRaidersGame
