@Steelers_DB Whole thing is messy and narratives coming out are conflicting. Doesn’t matter though cause no amount of bitching or crashing out will change anything. I hope the big guy shows the fan base he was the right choice. We won’t know for a few years.

Just my opinion but: Last night doesn't even hold a candle to how embarrassing the 2022 debacle was to me, and for all of the comparisons between Broderick/Max, they didn't pass on MULTIPLE tier-one players this time around like they did with Christian Gonzalez & Brian Branch in 2023. I get the optics of it all, and maybe I'm just so conditioned to them letting me down that I've lowered my expectations for them, but they've done at least a dozen dumber things in the past five years alone. I understand the swing; I really do. So, if you're still wondering why I'm not crashing out—that's why.

I find it funny that util spam is only a problem in Marathon because it actually is effective Meanwhile in Tarkov, it literally doesn’t matter because the util is so clunky and inconsistent that you could spam it and do nothing

@HackDotSlash @TheTacoTim Fights were a little less interesting because of all the nade spam. I think if you had an inventory limit, maybe it would work better. Running dorms and feeling like a mortar squad was setup inside was a nightmare.

unpopular take: 8GB is not the problem, software bloat is. i used an 8GB mac for years and it was fine because the programs were lean. now a browser tab takes 500MB and an electron app eats 1GB just to show you a text editor. we kept throwing more RAM at the problem instead of writing efficient software. if the industry spent half the energy on optimization that it spends on adding features, 8GB would be plenty in 2026. the real question isnt why apple ships 8GB, its why we need 32GB to run a chat app @steipete

@Gigabeef Yeah, I agree. No “issues” but some stuff just feels bad to wear, especially when you’re forced to wear armor for tasks and are expected to take damage but not die. Also the materials should have either some way to learn or ID how well they repair and what not. QOL stuff needed.

I think the biggest "questions" for me about armor now are: - Uselessness of the 4 biggest plate carriers (Zabralo etc), which need something to offset their horrible penalties - The strangeness of the soft armor model on certain rigs, meaning some are technically better in PvP due to "soft follow plate" mechanism, at the expense of "regular" soft coverage - High prices for certain empty carriers (e.g. SLICK) which prevents players from using them, preferring to sell & buy something else with equivalent protection, as in this example these days it really is just a glorified Trooper armor I avoid the word "issues" because I think it's mostly ok, at least functionally. I don't think Tarkov is particularly worse for these things, but would be nice to take a look over them

@re3mr Since 1.0, I’ve had puddle twice and only had one of them with crazy trip wires within the puzzle area itself. I was on PVE if that matters

Follow-up question regarding the tripwires on Labyrinth. If you spawned in the toxic puddle room - did you encounter a crazy amount of tripwires in the tunnel leading into the blowtorch room? Did they *all* show up there every time you spawned there or did the amount differ?

@steelcityundrgr Lamar/Vick vibes is all I’m getting at. Not great QB play early on, great ability to run. He will likely not do anything in this league at this point, but I hold out hope someone can unlock him.

@TheRealCyber_X He has 53 starts across three teams with how many different coordinators and coaches? I don't think his problem is the same as a Baker or Darnold. Fields just holds the ball too long. Not sure if any coach can correct that or not.

At some point I am going to make a map for Labs since it's the only location I havent made anything for now. Here are some of the Labs maps that are popular within the community. What style do you prefer when learning a location?

@BreidenFehoko Likely a draw up the middle or a play action into a MOF shot. Hard to say though since some defenses do a hell of a job hiding their coverage these days.
