I worked at Burger King in the late '90s with total shitkicking rednecks, I'm talking about guys with confederate flag bumper stickers who rigged their truck horns to play Dixie (seriously).
And nobody would have DREAMED of calling someone the n-word to their face. Not once did I see this in four years. Behind closed doors, yes they were telling n-word jokes *in the abstract.* But never, ever, in four years did I hear someone call a specific person the n-word. They probably would have tried to start something with you if you did (the hicklib phenomenon is not new).
These were guys who drank MD 20/20 and Sprite all through their shift, who had sex in the disgusting crew bathroom with the most ratchet-ass hoes you can imagine, who stole cases of chicken nuggets for their house parties. One guy actually went to jail for murdering his friend who'd had sex with his gf. Not exactly upstanding members of society.
So idk if David is lying here or if his kid lied to him but consider me skeptical that this sort of thing is happening regularly(!) in a tony suburb in 2026.

Our own Intelligence Community knew Iran was not seeking a nuclear weapon.
We should not be at war with Iran, but Trump is on the verge of more.
This is a major broken campaign promise and the American people are paying high prices as a result, along with the rest of the world.

The U.S. IC assessed that Iran was not seeking a nuclear weapon, yet unverified information from pro-Israel groups dominated the intelligence reaching POTUS in the lead-up to the war. The tragic part is that the successful Iran policy Trump enacted in his first term—and was enacting this time around—was working, and he was on his way to securing a much better deal than the JCPOA. This was a threat to Israel’s goal of getting the U.S. to provide the combat power for regime change in Iran. Groups like FDD, members of the media, donors, and key Israeli officials played a key role in convincing Trump that his policy should shift to zero enrichment and that the Iranian regime would quickly crumble if he struck now. Hopefully, POTUS will look at the results of the advice he has received from FDD and the Israel-first/neocon lobby and correct course.

So, the guy that bumped into me at my gym because I wore my MAGA hat, has a sticker on his truck that says, “This machine KILLS fascists”…
I’ve seen him at the gym many times since Election Day, and he’s even been in the sauna while I was there, but I think it’s time to chat.
Pray that his heart would be open to a convo about his beliefs next time I see him, and most importantly, pray he’s receptive to The Gospel.
I don’t need to convert someone to conservatism, or care if he likes Trump. The Gospel is the most important. I’m here to make disciples, not conservative converts.

So I was just about to walk into the gym with a MAGA hat on. I look down at my phone for a second to pause the music before I walk in, and this dude purposefully bumps into me… He then gets mad at me as if I walked into his path… (Below is the path I took and the one he had to take to purposefully bump into me) I looked at him as he smugly walked by and he said “You bumped into me... Your head was down.” I gave him a look of “you’re kidding right?…” and then politely said “excuse me” and walked away. This stuff is getting ridiculous. I can’t even walk into the gym without someone getting so butthurt that I’m wearing a hat.

Something a lot of people don't see. Trump thinks US troops in Germany are there to protect Germany. They're not.
They're there because the US needs the bases to be able to carry out US operations beyond the north American continent.
