You do, actually. This is precisely the kind of thing you have to tolerate, and if you don't like it, you must go somewhere else that you would find more amenable to your sensibilities.

Tommy Robinson Unite the Kingdom. It was a matter of time before the Islamophobia would start. It’s sickening behaviour. As Muslims, we shouldn’t have to tolerate this in our home…… England.

Say what you will about this style of building, but if I asked an architect to design the most defensible council house possible for a zombie apocalypse, they could hardly do better.

@ItsBiggyBoy Battinson is the weakest I think but its close between him and Baleman. However in terms of the *worst* it's Bale. Best films and scripts overall but not as good representation of the character I think.

@smartelek @RationalBlonde Got blocked, given no chance to respond and not given any reasoned response. Please give me a leftist who wants to actually argue a point and not grandstand about ethics.

English

@smartelek @RationalBlonde I told her I voted for Reform UK in the previous general election and she got very upset and said that they were going to revoke womens rights and deport her and her family. - reformparty.uk/policies
Now you tell me where amongst their policy any of that is listed.

Telling a liberal friend a mildly heterodox opinion is like defusing a bomb.
Telling a conservative friend the same thing is like… telling them a thing.

@smartelek @RationalBlonde I don't have to make assumptions about their politics because they would openly talk about their politics in front of me. So I know what they think and believe. This is fine.
But when I bring up politics they get upset. Double standard.
English

@TheRealSneel @RationalBlonde So they don't understand your politics and make assumptions...according to YOUR assumptions about THEM. Are you not seeing the irony here my good bitch.
English

@bigmonkeong As someone who hasn't read the book OR has seen the film, I have no fucking idea
English

havent seen lolita is it an actually evil movie or is this one of those cases people find anything that explores uncomfortable themes to be evil i remember it being lynchs favorite kubrick lol
rose@himeseul
stanley kubrick may you rest in hell
English

@smartelek @RationalBlonde I think they don't understand my politics and make assumptions based on left-wing propaganda that they blindly follow because it's perceived to be 'morally good'. In reality it's suicidal empathy.
I said I have no issue with their politics. Of course I don't think they are bad.
English

@TheRealSneel @RationalBlonde And have *you* considered why that might be? Or have you just decided those four people cut you out of their lives because they're bad people?
English

@RationalBlonde Been cut off by one of my left wing female friends this week because she found out I vote right.
Also fallen out with three of my other left wing friends this year over the same thing. I have no issue with their politics but that consideration doesn't seem to go both ways.
