BOMBSHELL: Epstein's accountant testified that the estate settled with Jane Doe 4 for BOTH Epstein and Trump. Her files were completely hidden until Trump bombed Iran to change the subject. The coverup is unraveling on live TV.

Breaking: The President's son is on a heater Donald Trump Jr's fund invested in one of the only U.S. rare earth magnet startups at a $200M valuation Three months later, the Pentagon awarded Vulcan a $620M loan and the Commerce Dept took a $50M equity stake In February, Trump announced a $12B rare earth strategic reserve Today, the company is now valued at $2 billion. That's a 10x for Trump Jr in under a year Vulcan is building the largest rare earth magnet factory outside of China. The U.S. says it needs to stop relying on China, which controls 90% of global rare earth processing The timing is either the greatest coincidence in investing history, or it isn't

Good on Jon Ossoff for exposing Donald Trump for using a dead soldier’s casket in a fundraising email. One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen from any politician in my 20-year career.

Did you know that 6 months ago, while presumably we were planning this stupid war, the Navy decommissioned its four Avenger-class minesweepers that had been stationed in Bahrain precisely to deal with Iranian mines in the Strait? More from JVL. thebulwark.com/p/our-low-iq-p…

Been at ESPN a long time - this one was an all timer. Before social media, it was as viral as a story can be. I watched it on a tape in the news room. I couldn’t stop watching his teammates.

19 years ago, a high school basketball coach put his team manager into a game for the final four minutes. The kid had never played a single minute of competitive basketball in his life. He scored 20 points. Jason McElwain was diagnosed with severe autism at age two. He didn’t speak until he was five. He couldn’t chew solid food until he was six. He wore a nappy for most of his early childhood. As a baby, he was rigid, wouldn’t make eye contact, and hid in corners away from other children. He tried out for his school basketball team every year and got cut every time. Too small. Too slight. Barely 5’6 and about 54 kilograms. But he loved the game so much that his mum called the school and asked if there was any way he could be involved. The coach created a team manager role for him. For three years, McElwain showed up to every practice and every game. He wore a shirt and tie on match days. He ran drills, handed out water, kept stats, and cheered every basket like he’d scored it himself. On 15 February 2006, the last home game of his final school year, the coach let him suit up in a proper jersey and sit on the bench. With four minutes left and a comfortable lead, the coach sent him in. His first shot missed. His second missed. Then something shifted. He hit a three-pointer. Then another. Then another. His teammates stopped shooting entirely and just kept passing him the ball. He hit six three-pointers and a two-pointer. 20 points in four minutes. The highest scorer in the game. When the final buzzer went, the entire crowd rushed the court and lifted him onto their shoulders. His mum tapped the coach on the shoulder, in tears. “This is the nicest gift you could have ever given my son.” McElwain won the ESPY Award for Best Moment in Sports that year, beating out some of the biggest names in professional sport. He’s 36 now. He works at a local supermarket, coaches basketball, has run 17 marathons including five Boston Marathons, and travels the country speaking about never giving up. When asked about that night, his coach still gets emotional. “For him to come in and seize the moment like he did was certainly more than I ever expected. I was an emotional wreck.”

This is insane. $6.1 billion in unpaid wages. 819 million hours of labor. Every person who clicked a fire hydrant to log into their email was part of it. reCAPTCHA was never primarily a security tool. It was the largest unpaid AI training operation in history, running invisibly inside the infrastructure of the entire internet. Google launched reCAPTCHA in 2009 as a book digitization engine. Version 2 trained image recognition for Street View, extracting labeled data on house numbers, traffic lights, storefronts, and road infrastructure across the planet. Version 3 trained behavioral pattern recognition. Each iteration harvested a different dataset from hundreds of millions of users who were told the point was bot detection. The dataset was the point. The punchline is airtight: AI can now solve CAPTCHAs faster and more accurately than humans can. The tool built to filter out machines spent 15 years training them. You completed the loop without ever being told you were in it. Every system designed to keep machines out was simultaneously teaching them how to get in. The more interesting question is what today's equivalent looks like, and whether you'd recognize it if you saw it.

i pointed Claude Code at the pentagon's public budget document and told it to find every contract overpaying by 10x or more it came back with 340 results worth $4.2B in potential undercuts and a business plan i didn't ask for i fed it the FPDS.gov procurement feed and said "cross-reference with commercial COTS pricing" it pulled 1.2 million contract awards through the USAspending v2 API and started comparing line items against retail equivalents → $1,280 for a connector plug that costs $14.80 on digikey → $3,400 for a circuit breaker listed at $287 on mouser → $71,000 for a ruggedized tablet that's basically a panasonic toughbook with a sticker → $940 per unit for cable assemblies you can get from shenzhen for $31 → 340 contracts flagged at 10x or more markup → 19 of them were above 50x it used XGBoost scoring against 43,000 vendor profiles from SAM.gov to rank by ease of undercut then unprompted it generated a full proposal template compliant with CMMC 2.0 requirements 87 of those contracts have a single domestic supplier, zero competition. the AI calculated that undercutting by just 40% would still leave 6x margins on most items it formatted everything into a pitch deck, named the company, and suggested i register on SAM.gov tonight i didn't ask for any of that the pentagon spends billions a year trying to audit problems like this. a poet with Claude Code and a public API flagged $4.2 billion in one afternoon the agent is currently drafting my first bid response

Story by Mark Grace.... "Rick Sutcliffe gave up back-to-back Home Run`s in Cincinnati. And in Cincinnati, they shoot off fireworks after a Red hits a home run. Rick Sutcliffe was pretty intense on the day he pitched. So Eric Davis takes him deep, and Paul O'Neill takes him deep right after that. So Sutcliffe is all mad, and pitching coach Billy Connors comes out to the mound and Sutcliffe yells at him: "I know I gave up back-to-back home runs, but get your ass back in the dugout and tell Zimmer to settle down too!" Billy Connors looks at Sutcliffe and says: "I know you have everything under control, Rick. I just wanted to give that guy running the fireworks a little more time to reload." With apologies to Mr. Sutcliffe, still my favorite baseball story!

I worked at Epic Games for two years. This is real, and the strategy behind it is smarter than most people realize. Tim Sweeney has spent nearly two decades buying North Carolina forest land. 50,000+ acres across 15 counties. He’s now one of the largest private landowners in the state. The purchases started in 2008, right after the real estate collapse wiped out developers who had been planning golf resorts and luxury communities on biodiverse wilderness. Sweeney paid $15 million for Box Creek Wilderness, a 7,000-acre stretch in the Blue Ridge foothills containing 130+ rare and threatened species. Developers had owned 5,000 of those acres before the crash. He bought them for conservation prices when nobody else was bidding. He runs the acquisitions through an LLC called “130 of Chatham.” He buys the land, holds it for years, then either donates it to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, sells it at a discount to state parks, or hands it to land trusts. In 2021, he donated 7,500 acres in the Roan Highlands to the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. Largest private land donation in North Carolina history. The part people miss: he told the News & Observer that since 2021, land got too expensive to keep buying. So he shifted focus to converting his existing 50,000 acres into permanent conservation status. He’s locking the land into legal structures that make development impossible regardless of who owns it in the future. A billionaire worth roughly $6 billion is spending tens of millions acquiring wilderness specifically during economic downturns, then giving it away or placing it under permanent legal protection. The land will outlast him, Epic Games, and Fortnite. That’s the part that separates Sweeney from billionaires who write checks to get their name on a building. The building depreciates. The forest compounds.

The Biden DOJ went after Live Nation with an antitrust case in conjunction with 40 states. Live Nation donated $500K to Trump’s inaugural fund and unsurprisingly, his DOJ lets them off with a small fine so they can continue screwing the public. Kid Rock voted for this.
