Freddie Flintoff's field of Dreams is just the best. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, sends such a positive message but also shines a light on so many of the problems in the country at the same time. What an important and brilliant bit of telly.

We have heard their voices very loudly for well over a decade. Their voice has said: 'Women must be erased in law and they should lose all rights to spaces and resources of their own. There must be no word for the class of female people that excludes males, they should not be allowed to analyse the oppression of female people as a class, and they must not be allowed a politics only for them which centres them and does not prioritise male people's feelings. Anyone who disagrees with this will be called a bigot and a nazi and we will go out of our way to destroy their lives.'
Tom Gordon MP@tomgordonLD

🏳️‍⚧️ I attended today’s Trans+ Solidarity briefing in Parliament. 🗣️ Trans voices must be heard. Their rights are being debated, yet too often they’re left out of the discussion. 🤝 I’m proud to stand with the trans community in the fight for dignity, equality and inclusion.

(2) When the nurses first went public with their story, Karen was afraid and was struggling with her health and confidence. “The support from the public, the other nurses and Christian Concern has got me through”, she said. “I couldn’t have done it on my own. The other nurses are like sisters to me, and we are in this together. “I have always been worried about telling my children. But recently I decided it was time. I said to them: ‘do you know the anonymous nurse in the Darlington legal case? That’s me.’ “They wished I had told them sooner and about what I have been through. My daughter is following the Darlington Nursing Union on X and my experiences are helping her to know what to do if anything was ever to happen to her. I wish I had told them sooner, but I was afraid and how do you find the words? “I am telling my story now because it feels right. I am aghast at how the Trust has ignored what I have been through and placed gender identity ideology above a woman who has experienced child abuse at the hands of a man. “Institutions pushing this ideology need to understand what many women are carrying around with them. We cannot ‘compromise’ or ‘be more inclusive.’ We shouldn’t have to be brave and go through the courts and have our livelihoods threatened. “I found my voice. It was taken away from me as a child. We are survivors, not victims, and our voices need to be heard to help and inspire other people. “I would encourage other women, whether you are working in the NHS, the police, or wherever: don’t suffer in silence. Don’t allow this dangerous ideology to make you believe you have done something wrong. Raise your voice and don’t be afraid. “I looked @wesstreeting in the eye and told him my story. Why can’t he do his job and change the policy and help, not only me, but all of the Darlington nurses, and women across the country, urgently?” Find out more on the story on our website: christianconcern.com/ccpressrelease… mailchi.mp/christianconce…

Transgender women are women. Full stop. The persistent argument that only ‘biological women’ qualify as real women is not rooted in science it’s rooted in fear, ignorance, and often transphobia masked as concern. Biological essentialism reduces womanhood to reproductive organs and chromosomes, ignoring the complex reality of human identity, psychology, and lived experience. To clarify: having a penis does not make someone dangerous. The problem is not anatomy it’s conditioning, lack of accountability, toxic masculinity, and the failure to teach emotional intelligence, respect, and sexual discipline. Sexual discipline means your sexual behavior aligns with your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being not with impulse, dominance, or entitlement. Men commit the vast majority of sex-based crimes not because of their genitalia, but because of cultural conditioning, patriarchal privilege, violence normalized in media, unresolved trauma, and a lack of comprehensive sex and consent education. Studies confirm that trans women are far more likely to be victims of sexual assault, not perpetrators. According to the Human Rights Campaign and CDC data, over half of transgender individuals especially Black and Latina trans women experience sexual violence in their lifetimes. Meanwhile, no reputable scientific study links transgender identity to increased rates of sexual offense. Reducing crime and promoting safety isn’t about policing gender identity it’s about addressing the root causes: poor upbringing, misogyny, mental health neglect, socioeconomic inequality, and lack of education around consent and boundaries. So no it’s not the penis that’s the problem. It’s how we raise humans, the systems we uphold, and the silence we allow around power, privilege, and predation.

.@GoodLawProject advises trans-identified men to keep breaking the law by using women's bathrooms. This, the founder says gleefully, will mean more rapists go free, which @JolyonMaugham seems to think a fitting punishment for the women who fought to protect single-sex spaces.

As a lawyer I am deeply concerned to see an elected politician publicly undermining the separation of powers in our democracy with irresponsible and entirely false allegations of bigotry and hatred against the judiciary. Disgraceful.

🧵(1) BREAKING: CHRISTIAN NURSE TAKES LEGAL ACTION AFTER BEING INVESTIGATED BY NHS FOR CALLING 6FT TRANSGENDER PAEDOPHILE 'Mr' The convicted paedophile, ‘Mr X’, is in a high security male prison after multiple convictions for luring boys into sex acts while pretending to be a teenage girl on social media. After refusing to refer to Mr X as a ‘she’ while on duty, Jennifer Melle was racially abused and physically threatened. Instead of supporting her, however, Epsom and St Helier University Hospital Trust has abandoned Jennifer and treated her like the criminal. The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has also said Jennifer is ‘a potential risk’ for not using Mr X’s preferred ‘gender identity.’ The story is the latest in a series of cases where NHS policy supports trans ideology over biological reality. It also follows the publication of the Sullivan report this week which revealed that the police are allowing criminals to ‘self-identify’ their gender on official records. In this case, policy has led, in the name of inclusivity, to the NHS siding with a paedophile convicted of serious offences, while pretending to be the opposite sex, over members of staff with Christian and gender-critical beliefs. Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, the case Jennifer has now launched against the Trust on the grounds of harassment, discrimination and human rights’ breaches, is believed to be unprecedented. In response to her claims, NHS lawyers have said that Christian beliefs Mis holds, that we are born male and female, are ‘not worthy of respect in a democratic society.’ Watch Jennifer discuss what happened and see more on our website: christianconcern.com/ccpressrelease…

@lulu_solomo I didn’t say we do it better, it’s just that many of us do it well, and that goes against your ideology that femaleness is handed down from the stars, or that there is only so much to go around.
