@KenneyNL I was told to explain this is standard for *all games on steam with community cosmetics*, even though valve does let you change the percentage, not many games do.

The Sims 4 is now allowing modders to sell their content through an in-game shop and EA takes... 70% of each sale. I think that's way out of line and 40% above the already controversial typical revenue share for platforms. Creators deserve better. ea.com/games/the-sims…

@JdThe65th @SadlyItsBradley Yeah I double checked, apparently he got specific permission to show himself wearing the headset, in my videos I was paranoid about showing more in-depth OS/settings stuff which I think he mostly avoids here too. Pretty ballzy though!

@TheShadowBrain Nice! Can you talk about comfort? I’d really like to know how the headset feels on ones face? Is it light and comfortable for longer periods of time? Is the top strap necessary or is it light enough to be able to use Frame comfortably even without it?

Really glad the high-def microphones from the index seem to be there, the first part of the video I had to use a shitty wireless lavalier mic but in the second half I swapped to the headset mic, it's super crispy. :D

It'll definitely be interesting to see how an Android APK build does vs an x86 Windows build, Linux Arm64 OpenXR is likely off the table since Unity does not like that build path at all currently (and I am a mere Unity developer so that is what I'm stuck with).

Doing a video on Climbey running on the steam frame is going to be quite the gymnastics exercise folks... Still gonna try though! Will likely also do some porting exercises using game jam games of mine, plenty of performance reference there.

@F7Eu1 The beta agreement says I can basically only talk about my own game (Climbey) and how it runs on it, I won't be allowed to comment on how other developer's games run on it. Still getting clarification on if I can show the interface and such outside of my game!

@aper_mesa Don't lose hope! My guess is this is going to be a wave based process, they're not done approving folks. This is my second time with valve beta hardware, previous time was in 2018 with the knuckles controllers, might have helped my chances for early approval.
