Summer is rapidly approaching, and I think everyone is thinking about it. Last summer was my first time out there for the @WSOP - and to say that I was woefully unprepared is quite possibly the understatement of the century. Of all the things that I learned over that period, I think the most important was that of perspective. I went out last summer to see what I could prove. Being the new guy on an insanely talented team was a little intimidating. These people knew the ropes. I knew nothing. And while it's true that I still don't know much, what I did learn was that if you go into it asking what you can get out of it, you've already lost. It's a logical question, don't get me wrong. But for me it was the wrong question. The right question became, "Where do I add value?" That question changed my relationship to the work. Poker has given me so much more than I could've ever asked for. It's my hope to show the value back.

@teemo2006 I know the games over, but it if I was in Robs shoes I would’ve tried to stay friendly. Candaice had pressure and was likely the next to go, but if they seemed to emotionally throw a vote my way…I’m not risking giving them more time to ruin my game on the way out.

@TheShayneM So why did Rob lie and claim he wanted to keep working with Candiace? I get it if he felt Candiace was already long gone (even though they hadn’t yet voted out Lisa ao super early) then say that and stand in it. The issue is he’s lying that he still wanted to work with her.

Exactly! Thank you Candiace, Rob needs to own his (very good) strategy. He wanted to win on his own and that’s what he did. Glad he finally got caught having to admit he never intended to go to the end with Candiace. Just own it as the snake you are. #TheTraitorsUS #TheTraitors

One bracket you actually care about…I personally think it’s ok to do the fun ones (coin flip, number generator, etc) as long as you don’t pawn it off as your own.

If this was a middle or high school teacher in a specialized subject I’d understand more, But elementary teachers not only teach a wide array of subjects but also life lessons and how to treat others. I’ve watched my fair share of Mrs. Crippen’s lessons and they all go into themes in the grand scheme such as sportsmanship, friendship, supporting others, and managing expectations (plus during the season a fair amount of math is incorporated into lessons about records and stats). She’s connecting the material to the real world in a way that will stick with these kids long after they leave her class instead of just reading off a textbook or mindlessly playing an educational movie. Even if you’re not a sports fan, I’d still want more teachers to take this approach, as maybe the next generation will just be a little bit better with lessons such as these.

@maryisbananas It's not personal but I wouldn't want this lesson for my child. It's not academic and a waste of educational time, taxpayer funding. And, Maxx Crosby is a former crackhead who can't give an interview that isn't in ebonics and laced with profanity. He can barely wear a shirt

DJ Moore is an upgrade to the WR room. CJGJ is likely an upgrade over Rapp/Poyer. Chubb may be an upgrade over Bosa. Alford may be an upgrade over Johsnon. Anderson is a downgrade to Edwards. N/A is a downgrade to Gilliam.

@maryisbananas I understood that, but I wish it incoporated some lesson of the ramifications of going back on the deal. Raiders got a lot of other snacks and the Ravens let a lot of other snacks go in between the trade. Plus we SAW the bag getting crunched before the trade, so was it the reason

I agree. My interpretation is that showing that you’re willing to balk makes you a flight risk and unless the risk is worth it teams would rather not risk a similar situation to this.
