The largest LinkedIn office in Asia Pacific, opening in Bengaluru within a month. Run the salary math. A LinkedIn software engineer in the US pulls median total comp of $340,000. The same role in Bengaluru: $95,000. Ratio is 3.5 to 1. The Bengaluru office has owned LinkedIn's search, notifications, and spam infrastructure globally for over a decade. Same codebase. Same products. Same production systems. 875 cuts at US comp rates frees up roughly $300 million in annual payroll. That budget buys over 3,000 engineers in Bengaluru. LinkedIn chose to announce the largest APAC office and the largest layoff in the same month. This is one company. Bengaluru now hosts 875 Global Capability Centers employing over 2 million professionals. Amazon opened its second largest Asian office there in February. Microsoft committed $17.5 billion to India in December. The city produces more Grade-A office space than Shanghai. India's GCC sector generated $64.6 billion last fiscal year. On pace for $100 billion by 2030. Every American tech company is running the same 3.5:1 calculation on the same spreadsheet and arriving at the same answer.

@realshubhamkush This seems a bit odd. I can understand not allowing the pax whilst the aircraft was landing/descending, but denying the diabetic pax access to the lavatory post-landing is a bit harsh.

Air Hostess Neha of Indigo Flight 6E6313 (Raipur to Delhi, 16:50 departure) denied a Diabetic passenger access to the washroom at 6:15 PM despite sufficient time before landing, and when requested she misbehaved with the passenger. The flight landed at 6:35. After deplaning also, she didn’t allow to use the washroom. Who takes responsibility for such behaviour by flight attendants towards passengers? Passengers deserve dignity and respectful treatment, not arrogance. @DGCAIndia @IndiGo6E
