@clashreport I always find such statements funny, they have died for less in the past and I'm sure most of them want to be there because its their duty and they voluntary signed up for the military

According to CBS, citing sources with knowledge on the matter, the White House has rejected Elon Musk’s offer to pay the salaries of TSA workers, who have been working without pay due to the Democrats’ holdup of the Department of Homeland Security funding.

This doesn’t make any sense because he can’t legally pay them anyway. He would have to establish a charity which he can do and then he could disperse money that way, which the White House would have nothing to do with. The White House can’t reject something that’s already illegal.

🇮🇷 Iran's "Missile City" — buried 500 meters inside a granite mountain in Yazd. The U.S. military's most powerful bunker-buster, the GBU-57 MOP, penetrates 60+ meters in concrete. The facility sits at 440 meters depth. The math ain't mathin'. Multiple tunnel exits on different sides of the mountain. An internal railway system. 300-million-year-old rock rated at up to 125,000 EDM, 25 times harder than reinforced concrete. Trump said Iran has no military left.

Why does everyone assume that the USA wants to put boots on Kharg Island? There is no strategic importance of Marines/Soldiers taking the island. The USA can isolate it from the sky. A-10's and Apaches are operating freely over the Persian Gulf and the Straight of Hormuz. We can knock out these tiny bunkers from the sky, shut down the airfield from the sky, and have a complete blockade on the island, from the sky. Sending in troops would be symbolic, stupid, and certainly wouldn't be advisable. The more likely scenario, the 8k-10k troops are going to be isolating uranium enrichment sites inside of Iran while special ops take care of business on the objectives. Not occupying Iran, storming a beach, or a pointless island, ensuring the destruction of actual strategic targets.
Visioner@visionergeo

🇮🇷 Iranian soldiers in underground trenches on Kharg Island are posting photos and stating that they are ready to repel a possible US landing- 👇 🔹 Judging by the photo, the Iranians have already received FPV kamikaze drones produced by the Chinese company Shenzhen Beizao Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. This model is equipped with a 5.8 GHz frequency video transmission antenna. 🔹 The only threat that the US would face in a land operation - unlike Iranian standard conventional weapons - is precisely the large-scale use of medium-range FPV kamikaze drones within asymmetric warfare and ambushes carried out by operators… Otherwise, Iran does not have armored vehicles on land, nor can it offer organized resistance within the framework of standard infantry tactics against the US elite amphibious and land forces - especially considering they will have 100% air support… 🔹 Thus, if the US suffers losses in land clashes during the capture of the Strait of Hormuz islands, the vast majority will be caused by ambushes carried out by Iranian FPV drones… It is likely that Russian operators experienced in the Ukraine war are already on site. @WarMonitor3 It's such a big risk but would be a good bargaining chip. Island will need a layered air defence and hardened bunkers put in place.

It increasingly feels like to me that Washington is going to have to escalate again I.E taking control of the strait of Hormuz by force or Kharg island as like a month ago we are seeing completely unreconcilable negotiation positions...

🧵🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: THE 4-DAY MIRACLE, or How MWEG and a 500-Org Coalition Weaponized Charlie Kirk's Assassination 🚨 1,400 people. 20+ organizations. 3 professionally moderated panels. 4 days after an assassination. Does this sound organic to you? September 14, 2025 (a Sunday, no less) the "Dignity Over Violence" zoom goes live. The coalition's central resource was a website called turntoward[.]us registered by Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) ONE DAY after Charlie Kirk was shot dead at UVU. Registrant email: internal.support@mweg.org "Turn Toward." Now say "Turning Point." Did they name the campaign after the dead man's organization to advance their own political agenda? I'm going to reverse-engineer how you mobilize 20 NGOs in 4 days... because you CAN'T. Not unless the infrastructure was already built. I dare you, @mormonweg , to explain how these receipts are "absolutely false." As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

@vcdgf555 Imagine the US has equipment in storage in the Middle East for a rapid surge of troops? Similar to Cold War Europe. If not, then transport planes won’t cut it you’d need roll-on, roll-off ships to move heavy equipment for an "Invasion" althought this highly unlikely takes months

I'm not entirely convinced this is all related. 35 (48) transports is a lot, but there are a lot of other units and equipment that could be useful for other things like C-UAS, AD, helicopters, etc. I also can't help but notice the low count of flights from Campbell and Bragg, home to the 101st and 82nd Airborne, respectively. While the tankers have been getting all the attention lately, the transports have been moving unabated for weeks. The number of transport flights below are merely a time slice as far back as the 14th, which means it could be a bigger or smaller trend either way. Even if we assume every transport is carrying troops (which is a big assumption), 35 transports would add only about 4000 troops to the region. 48 transports would be close to 6000. I think a relevant question with this info needs to be "how many transports from the same base to the same waypoint indicates a deployment of a unit that might 'go in'?"
TheIntelFrog@TheIntelFrog

A significant movement is underway from US Army, Navy and Air Force bases in CONUS to the Middle East comprised of at least 35 C-17 flights since March 12th, with 11 more flights on the way. Origins: 12-Hunter Army Air Field/Fort Stewart, GA 8-Unknown 7-JB Lewis-McChord, WA 6-Pope Army Air Field/Fort Bragg, NC 4-Campbell Army Airfield/Fort Campbell, KY 4-Gray Army Airfield/JB Lewis-McChord, WA 4-Naval Air Station Oceana, VA 1-MacDill AFB, FL 1-JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ Destinations: 17-Ovda Air Base, Israel 13-King Faisal Air Base, Jordan 4-King Hussein Int'l Airport, Jordan

@ClayTravis As a Brit, I find this so backwards. The opposing party can essentially cripple the country by refusing to allow salaries to be paid for critical aspects of day-to-day running and national security. It should be considered an act of treason.

Delta announces all members of Congress will lose special status on the airline as TSA continues to work without pay. Love this. Continue to believe all members of Congress — and their staffs — should lose their pay for the entire year every time the government shuts down.
