I think Trump cancelled the planned bombing of Iran because Iran has handled these riots better than anyone expected. Israel 100% thought this was the end of the republic. Two things can be true at the same time. Iranian regime are bad guys AND there is propaganda for regime change. There are many bad guys, like leader of North Korea, and others who kill thousands of civilians, like Israel. The difference is there's no propaganda to topple them. Our guiding principle should be simple - is it good for America? Another regime change war in the Middle East is terrible for America. We will not be greeted as liberators. This is the same bullshit we heard before the Iraq War. I wish the protesters well. I hope they bring freedom to Iran. But us bombing Iran will NOT help them, it will be counterproductive - and get us into another mess. We should not fight this war for the people of Israel or Iran. We should look out for our own people, instead of starting wars on behalf of other people.
