For those who as usual are targeting Congress, please note that it’s only the Congress that has defeated an incumbent BJP Govt since 2014. INC defeated BJP in Madhya Pradesh INC defeated BJP in Chattisgarh INC defeated BJP in Rajasthan INC defeated BJP in Karnataka INC defeated BJP in Himachal INC-JMM defeated BJP in Jharkhand Even in the times of BJP’s domination, capture of institutions and media, infinite resources, relentless attacks on Rahul Gandhi, the Congress has defeated an entrenched BJP govt and captured power. No regional party has done this. And I don’t think any regional party can do it as well without INC. Only Rahul Gandhi and Congress can pushback and eventually win against BJP’s onslaught.

Tamil Nadu voted for change we must accept it. Tamil Nadu again rejected the NDA, along with the surrendered Palaniswami. Hate entry was stopped. Now it is the duty of the secular forces to stop any manipulation of the verdict. Secular forces must come together to protect Tamil Nadu from RSS proxies and from hate politics. 4 Initial Takeaways 1. TVK’s numbers show a massive rise in Gen Z impact on elections. Youth voted against entrenched parties/alliance in Tamil Nadu. 2. Congress+ UDF’s win in Kerala again shows that when we organise an election properly, campaign well, have a good narrative, we win. South again stands with Congress. 3. it’s the end of Communism and Left politics in India. They will remain very fringe players and stand no chance to win any state. 4. The impact of SIR and Delimitation is for all to see when BJP focuses on them to win. Bihar was an example, now showing in Assam and WB. Big gains for BJP in east but wiped out in South.

I usually avoid responding to singular tweets, but this one from the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs cannot be ignored. It is the right of every opposition party, in fact every citizen to question all the arms of government. Calling it an attack on democracy is against the very grain of democracy. This idea propagated by the present government that the entire opposition is a negative force is the real threat to democracy.

Back in 2020, @KanoongoPriyank misused his official position to target me. He assisted an abusive troll in filing two FIRs against me in Delhi and Chhattisgarh invoking the POCSO Act. He also wrote to both the Delhi and Raipur Police, claiming that my tweet amounted to the torture and harassment of a minor girl, tried his best to have me arrested under POCSO. In 2024, the Delhi Police cleared my name in the FIR. The Delhi High Court also pulled up the police for their aggressive approach and directed the abusive troll who had filed the complaint to publicly apologize for posting offensive tweets targeting me. In 2025, the Raipur Police filed a closure report, and the Chhattisgarh court disposed of the matter. And now, the same man lectures about “media ki swatantrata.”

FAKE NEWS There are some news reports suggesting a price hike of petrol and diesel. It is hereby clarified that there is no such proposal under consideration by the Government. Such news items are designed to create fear and panic amongst the citizens and are mischievous and misleading. In fact, India is the only country where petrol and diesel prices haven’t increased in the last 4 years. Govt of India and Oil PSUs have taken relentless steps in order to insulate the Indian citizens from steep increases in international prices.
