Okay, hear me out....
I know people are going to crap all over this match, especially with Danhausen’s surprise partner being.... Mini Danhausen? A tiny version of him who I think might’ve been Mascarita Sagrada in a Danhausen outfit. Can’t prove it, that’s just my guess based on the performance.
Regardless of whether the creative decision was good or bad, I thought the match was extremely entertaining! If we’re grading purely on entertainment value? That was a five-star match. 😂
Honestly, bell-to-bell, it really wasn’t bad either. I’m not even sure how to properly rate it.
Danhausen and his mini partner pick up the win over Miz and Kit Wilson at Backlash.

@nestapendragon Im not intending to call you out specifically here, Im sorry I made it seem that way.
I do feel that if one plays this card (with this art) and putting it line with their lands (not even intentionally "hiding") is not a fun experience.
Its a bad "gotchya" moment at best.

@TheTopDeckDad To be clear. I have never said I was hiding this card with my lands while I was playing it. People sure are jumping to a lot of conclusions about me though.

Is it morally okay to leave this down with your lands in EDH?
I used to have this in my Dina deck, I thought it was a fun Easter egg! And I thought people knew all about it.
Instead it caused a lot of confusion.
Do people still have strong MTG feelings about this card?

@nestapendragon The card is played in 4% of decks which isnt a lot, but its not 0 either.
Players not knowing about this card is expected, but if you are the one playing it and you are not announcing it, its pretty lame IMO.
Even after announcing it and putting it with lands is still lame IMO

@WrestlingHumble The tag division has just been crap for so long. Nothing to do with the performers and everything to do with stories no one cares about and the value of the titles being so incredibly low.

They genuinely had no idea what to do with one of the most influential tag teams of all time. Signed them just to keep them away from AEW, put a belt on them immediately and then relegated them to Main Event. Sabin and Shelley are actually so funny but the ‘entertainment company’ somehow never let them show that side completely. Absolutely baffling.

My turn to share my unsolicited (but correct) opinion on this picture.
Yes, it borrows from classical religious-style art— light, clouds, a central figure in white— but those elements aren’t exclusive to Jesus Christ. They’ve been used for centuries to signal authority, sacrifice, or restoration.
If you actually look at what dominates the image, it’s not Christian symbolism— it’s American symbolism. The flag, soldiers, fighter jets, fireworks, and the Statue of Liberty place the scene firmly in a national, not biblical, context.
And if this were meant to portray Jesus Christ, you’d expect the defining markers— crown of thorns, crucifixion imagery, stigmata. None of that is here.
Even the act of healing isn’t uniquely Christ-like in art— it’s a broader symbol of leadership, intervention, or restoration in times of crisis. Political figures have long been depicted in elevated, almost mythic ways using this same visual language.
At the end of the day, this is just political imagery using a familiar, almost sacred visual style to frame a leader as a symbol of strength and restoration. You can like it or not— but calling it a literal depiction of Jesus Christ is a stretch.

Is it normal to just feel tired and burnt out all the time?
It’s like you don’t even really get the weekend to recover because it’s all just kid stuff the moment you wake up
Arguably the only personal time you have is when they nap (and you’re already dead tired by that time) or the hour after they go to bed but before you pass out

However id argue against unconditional tutors in any capacity in bracket 2.

@LotharHS Would love to see the deck lists that triggered this and have a healthy discussion on how lands are a feature and not a bug. Would be 99% sure a majority it comes down to deck building, mulligan decisions, and curve considerations.

Story time.
I quit Magic few times, it was ALWAYS because after some time I just remembered that lands is a terrible system.
The last time I quit it, I went to GP Manchester (or Paris, I can’t remember). But after playing the entire event I realised that 33% of my games at that event were decided by either me or my opponent not having enough or having too many lands.
I realised I can’t be bothered to play a game where 1/3 of the game just doesn’t matter.
That was my last time with competitive Magic.

For comparison, in my years of playing FaB and SWU I remember like 2-3 games overall when bad draws were fully deciding a game.

Every TCG is going to have non-games. Non-games are the result of variance which is something TCG's need. Some people feel like Magic's non-games are worse because the variance comes from the mana system, so a MTG non-game is "you don't play you cards." In reality this is no more of a non-game than some Hearthstone card doing something random to kill you out of nowhere, but Magic takes more heat for it because it feels worse. It's basically the same concept as how in Commander you can Doom Blade your opponent's commander and it's fine, but if you counter it they get salty. The result is the same, but the Doom Blade gives you the illusion that you were actually making progress and doing something. It tricks you into thinking your decisions mattered, but really they didn't. Non-games in other TCG's do a better job of giving you this illusion, to tricking you into thinking that they aren't really non-games because you are taking game actions and doing things. But really they are the same as getting mana screwed.
