All my bugs are literally fixed in seconds now. I am a big advocator of building tooling that makes you a better software engineer. The only true path to becoming a 10x engineer is putting in the hardwork and creating the tooling to becoming: faster, more accurate, less mistakes, etc. One of my favorite tools I've used for years now is BRAID which I recently made public for everyone. I got tired of copy and pasting to LLM for relevant fixes, feeding them context: errors, stack traces, tech stack, package, configuration, dependences, etc... I built "Browser Real-time A.I. Debugger" (BRAID) so I could ( not clickbait ) 10x my engineering debug processes. The video here shows just that: 6 seconds compared to over a minute process. And the awesome thing is even complex errors takes BRAID the same speed to suggest a fix but using LLM or google takes exponentially longer the more complex the error gets. This past week I installed and configured an open source software for emails. It works beautifully and cost $0 with no need for added resources to my existing tech stack. My $24/month server is my only note worthy cost to all my business/projects and it covers a lot of areas: 1. website. 2. LLM integrations and product host 3. proxies/load balancing 4. in house toolings 5. APIs 6. database 7. emails (inbound/outbound) 8. agentic automated workflows. (and more) Owning my infra at as close to $0 is one of the most rewarding ways to build.
