Since Ukraine began to increase attacks on Russian oil refineries, Russia has been looking for an excuse to carry out an indiscriminate missile strike on central Kyiv - even before Putin’s little Red Square parade, so the warning of a potential Oreshnik strike is not surprising.

According to my sources, the draft proposal that’s supposed to be finalised include:
-End of war on all fronts including Lebanon
-Freeing several billion dollars of Iran's blocked funds
-Lifting the U.S. naval blockade and opening the strait of Hormuz
-Withdrawal of American forces from the immediate vicinity of Iran
After this, the parties will have 30 days to agree on the nuclear issue.
These 30 days can be extended by mutual agreement.
During these thirty days, passage will be facilitated through the strait.
According to Iran, management of the Strait of Hormuz will be an Iranian-Omani issue, and is being negotiated with Muscat.

The deal being floated with Iran seems straight out of the Wendy Sherman-Robert Malley-Ben Rhodes playbook: Pay the IRGC to build a WMD program and terrorize the world.
Not remotely America First. It’s straightforward: Open the damned strait. Deny Iran access to money. Take out enough Iranian capability so it cannot threaten our allies in the region.
Overdue. Let’s go.
