The only bummer about this announcement is the fact that I applied for a position to work on the sales team that would be effectively selling this partner program and was denied (despite my incredible selling skills and tenure). The big “secret” of modern international law is that it is now designed to cripple the West, make wars impossible to win, and keep us trapped in hostile quagmires. That’s the end game. It’s the great “equalizer,” the pinnacle of post-liberal equality. Under international law, bad actors have the privilege of acting with impunity while Western forces that respond get chastised by various Singham-funded NGOs and the Atlantic. Trump is the first president to buck this nonsense.

A few words on the kaspanet/vprogs code repository. Consider this as two efforts digging a mountain from both directions and seeking to meet. Hans @hus_qy (and others will join) is building a based computation runtime, i.e., a runtime that is fed by a sequencer with transactions and executes them over a vm (or several vms) with maximum concurrency. The covenants++ taskforce is digging from the L1 side, building the covenant infrastructure and zk opcodes that will allow this runtime to settle and bridge from/to L1. We aim to reach each other first through a narrow tunnel, and only then widen the pathway together. That’s the covenants++ goal: create based zk covenants on one side and a minimal standalone app-level runtime on the other, then have them connect and link with production-ready quality. Then we widen the tunnel together, integrating increased composability while still targeting maximum sovereignty (with the vprogs yellowpaper guiding the way). This pathway can also be gradual (see the gist I shared a few weeks ago). The point is building the basic elements in production-ready quality, having them support massive based computational apps, and then continuing the journey

The Australia I remember during my youth bears little resemblance to the nation that now exists. I think there is a fair case to be made that we have traded away our soul. There is no cohesive national identity. There was, once upon a time, a demonstrably visible national character. We knew what it was to be Australian. We loved our country. Our flag. Our history. Our entrepreneurial and iconoclastic verve. Our disdain of centralised authority. Our willingness to give every person a fair go. Our characteristically intense competitive streak. And our eccentric and larrikin heroes. From Don Bradman to Kerry Packer. But today it is difficult to discern a unifying crusade or common community. There are, to be sure, redoubts here and there. But across this sunburnt land we have emerged as a nation divided. Many will claim that their vision of Australia best represents a universal mission. That they know the true Australia. And that there is a silent majority that agrees with them. But I do not see it. Financially corrupt the voters to win the next election and then rinse and repeat. Until the money runs out. Australia has become obsessed with the public sector providing answers to its problems. Obsessed with centralised control. Remember the world’s worst lockdowns? Obsessed with censorship: eviscerate parental responsibilities and ban children from access to the internet. Obsessed with revisionism. We don't even give our kids an opportunity to learn from our historical wins and losses. It is airbrushed in the name of trying to create an alternative political reality. Obsessed with cutting down tall poppies. That is, we don't just want equality of opportunity, which is a crucial ideal—we increasingly seek equality of outcomes. A huge amount of the secular racial prejudice projected against Judaism by other creeds and cultures can be attributed to the fact that the Jews have been consistently one of the most successful communities in the countries they have lived in. The intelligence, innovation, and unmatched professional intensity that Judaism nurtures has been a persistent source of envy and polarisation for as long as the faith has existed. Whatever academic pursuit or vocation you inspect, you will find Jews dominating. This is true by design because the community defines itself through a purity of purpose that advocates intellectual and professional excellence. It is a self-selection process that attracts and spawns world-class talent. I'm glad to see that, following the last few days of discussion, $kas core leads decided to pivot to a more collaborative, less isolationist approach. Kaspa needs innovators working with the facilities already/nearly available. Builders prepared to be the premium clients of upcoming innovations. Expediting covenants and ZK_OPCODES to allow canonical bridging (and some other stuff) is a great decision that should benefit all sides to this discussion. The previous unreasonable hard line core leads took against building over their own chain has caused a lot of tension to accumulate between core and eco. Hopefully, this tension will start to relieve soon. (And for those upset with me for "fudding", remember that without an open, stubborn discussion, nothing would have changed. I feel that I represent a perspective that the core leads tend to miss/ignore, so I will keep volunteering it for the betterment of Kaspa. Making noise is my only means to raise important questions that everybody else seems to miss, and I'm not giving that resource away to make nice with anyone. I'm not here to make friends. I already have friends. I'm here to help Kaspa. No other reason to even keep this cursed acc. @EPBResearch Agree with you on the linkage. Of course that is relevant today since the Fed has indicated a desire to cut *in response* to softening labor markets, suggesting that if meaningful cuts come it is likely in an environment of undesirably weak conditions.

Remind me again whether aggressive Fed cuts in response to weak growth are a good or bad time for stocks?
