My favorite tidbit about how @cohentomer and team transformed the LinkedIn feed: they carved out 2 million users to experiment on, to give them the freedom to make radical changes to the algorithm without impacting/confusing key business metrics.

Some guesses
-most generative AI use cases today are not standalone companies but features a few companies are using internally
-the foundational models are still not great for health use cases
-everyone is scared of putting PHI or actually useful data into them

kind of surprised how few new generative AI in healthcare companies there have been in the last 2-3 months - feels like there was a boom 7-9 months ago then it got very quiet
I thought maybe it was just me but healthcare venture friends seem to confirm this

@ozskier Actually if you consent to email communications, they have to email you. If you really wanna eff with them, try it and be the one to yell HIPAA louder. The proprietary format…is a horse of a different color.

I'd also like to point out that they gave me these files on a goddamn CD in a proprietary format.
Apparently it is against HIPAA to email files, make them available in an online portal, or ya know, just be distributed in a modern way.

Teslas “Poor” build quality is the biggest hoax ever. Just watch this video between a $140,000 Mercedes S560 and a $30,000 base model 3… every single little thing rattles and squeaks in the #Mercedes while the #Tesla is rock solid, nothing rattles and squeaks. My Dad who owns the S class was a Tesla hater. After experiencing my model 3 performance and a demo drive of a model X, he now own 3 Teslas and has been driving this model 3 base for 4 days over his S class while he waits for the X plaid to arrive @elonmusk @wholemars @Tesla @teslaownersSV @ValueAnalyst1
