I struggle with perfectionism. My pieces aren’t perfect. They are far from it. What I mean is that I constantly feel like I need to outdo myself each time I drop a major piece, which leads to a cycle of burnout and self doubt. DCB #10 “Hunting for the Chimera” details below:

I am no longer part of dReader. haven’t been for the last few months. From day one, my vision was clear: creators first, always. Not just another platform chasing trends, but a space where storytelling, art, and culture lead—challenging the legacy industry & giving artists a real tool and community. I’ve spent years championing independent creators—and that doesn’t stop now. It’s a hill I’d die on again and again! There’s otherworldly power in stories & art--and Solana is still one of the most exciting ecosystems for building the future of creator-led cultures--but too often I've seen creators being treated as resources—not partners. Culture is everything. Without it, creative platforms become empty shells. As creators, we’ve all faced rejection—from publishers, studios, algos. We pour everything into our work, only to be told “NO” or “you’re a D-player & unnecessary”. But rejection doesn’t stop us. It fking fuels us!! So here’s what’s next: We build. We create. We support storytellers. Not for quick flips. Not for those who see artists as leverage. But for those who support, live and breathe the craft: storytelling, writing, art--CREATING! I’m not stopping. One of the strongest MFers I know is in rehab and we just met for lunch. . He is a successful cat , who worked his ass off in Hollywood. Finding , losing , and establishing identity . Everyday is a new day . Reminded me of a piece from my Art collection .

Dealing with what the doctors are saying is a stroke... Spending hours with nothing but time on this hospital bed, All keep thinking about and looking at is the art I've made the last few months. With the diminished ability to move, to feel... there's a whole new layer and dimension added to my art that wasn't there before. Because of this, my Maps and Nomads have much more gravity, weight... it feels as if they are much more critical to my inner self than I realized they could be. No expectations of comments or responding to this. I'm forcing myself to process my thoughts in a more public way. To release all this energy into the world and reflect on the feelings that come back to me.
