I've added $10,000 to my #Altcoin portfolio Last week I made a video where I added $10K to the portfolio. In that video, I explained that I was going to add more in the coming months; today is that moment. If people would call me for advice, my advice would be: DCA. That's the right strategy for these markets, and this is the ideal moment to pursue it. Yes, before the trolls come in: the portfolio is down 75-80%. Yes, that's my personal portfolio, and I'm trading it with my portfolio, since I'm more willing to take risks. This is different than the @MNFund_ portfolio or our VC portfolio. The fund is doing really well; we've been outperforming Bitcoin by 35% since inception on July 1st, 2025. Anyways, let's talk about the altcoin portfolio. Why are you adding here? First of all, my theory is that we're getting at the end of the bear market and that you'd generally be picking up great assets for a penny on the dollar. In the video, I explained that I wanted to add funds to the altcoin portfolio. If you have the opportunity, I would suggest doing so overall, but this depends on your risk appetite. If you don't have the opportunity to do so, then holding is the best suggestion, in my view. Now, I've added $10,000 on February 1st, and then we've seen this bloodbath. I mentioned I was likely to add $10,000 per month for the next 2-3 months, and if the markets show strength or collapse, I'll do it again. So here we are. Another $10,000 added into the portfolio. The reasoning behind adding here is quite simple: - Everyone is salty as fuck with their positions. - The valuation of #Bitcoin in Gold is the lowest it has ever been. Lower than the bear market low in 2022, 2018, and 2015. - The valuation of #Bitcoin (RSI) on weekly and two-weekly timeframes is getting towards bear market low levels. - The production cost of Bitcoin is above us. Additionally; - The macroeconomic tables are turning completely in the coming period. - No more government shutdowns (I expect) - Progressive FED Chairman - The business cycle is at its lowest point and turning around. - Clarity Act coming into play. The only thing is, people are heavily fed up with the markets that only negative news will be getting the spotlight. Technical idea of the markets The technical idea and theory, for me, are that we peaked in December '24 and have been in a bear market ever since. Those bear markets end by capitulation, and that's what's happening right now. RSI <30 and lower, and no more resilience at all. This doesn't mean we won't go down further; it's just a zoomed-out perspective: we're close to the end of the correction. Just like we've been in 2022 and 2018. Just like during that period, big layoffs are happening, companies are winding down, and people are leaving the space. What did I buy? In the video on Sunday, I've been adding to my current assets: $OP, $TAO, $SEI, and $EIGEN. In this case, I'm doing the same, so I've done: - Bought $2500 of $OP at $0.2085 (total amount of 11990 pieces) - Bought $2500 of $TAO at $180 (total amount of 13.88 pieces) - Bought $2500 of $SEI at $0.08 (total amount of 31250 pieces) - Bought $2500 of $W at $0.0215 (total amount of 116822.43 pieces). The attached screenshot shows the current portfolio balance and the amount I have per position. The average price on most of them has gone down substantially, but no wonder, I need a lot of upside to be getting back towards normal levels, and I'm willing to bet on that, as that's my strategy. I'm happy with that. The gameplan As we're in the middle of the capitulation, I'm currently holding my entire portfolio. I won't be trading this as active during the coming period, as I suspect most of those assets are trading at fair prices, comparable to the levels from the day before October 10th, so I'm simply going to hold it. If there's going to be an adjustment, it will happen because one asset moves faster than the other.ng due to a particular asset moving faster than the other. Funding: Überwiegend positiv und zuletzt zunehmend → Long-Bias im Derivatesegment nimmt zu. Liquidations: Mehrere Short-Spikes im Anstieg → Squeeze-Komponente bestätigt. Einordnung Der Anstieg kommt primär aus Futures-Flow (starke Futures-CVD-Steigung, steigender OI) mit Spot-Unterstützung. Nachhaltigkeit: mittel bis fragil. Robust wird es, wenn Spot-CVD weiter anzieht und OI moderat wächst (kein Überhebeln).
