I will take stick here but if we all think about this in a rational way if Enzo does leave it might actually improve the team. Palmer and Estevao are incredibly difficult to replace. The team needs to be built around them. I don’t want to see a RB invert to help Enzo’s lack of mobility. If you play a 433 then one of Estevao and palmer don’t play. If you play a 4231, Enzo and Caicedo can’t co exist. Love Enzo. Think he is a brilliant player. Just don’t think he suits the Prem and this team. Every manager who has come in has to play weird formations to cater for Enzo and protect him. The major caveat of this situation is will our SD’s replace him sufficiently if they do sell him (huge issue) The optics would also not look good. But in the long term, with the right replacements in (Rogers and a proper holding midfielder) it might actually help us long term. This could come back to haunt me but no emotions attached, it might help the team be better. 🤷🏽‍♂️

One day people will realise that the CWC is not a pre season competition. Last time I checked, a pre season competition does not award over £100M in prize money, be played every 4 years & allow teams to wear a gold badge on their kit confirming they are World Champions
