Teen Prodigy Graduates with LLB at 19 At an age when most young South Africans are still navigating their first year of university, 19-year-old Onika Mokoena has already donned her graduation gown and earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Johannesburg’s highly ranked Faculty of Law. Originally from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga, Mokoena enrolled at UJ at the age of 15, turning what could have been an overwhelming leap into a story of quiet resilience and fierce purpose. “I chose law – or rather law chose me – because I see it as a powerful tool to bring justice and protect the vulnerable,” she told UJ News. “I want to use my legal expertise to give strength to those who feel powerless.” Her time at UJ was marked by both academic excellence and hands-on experience. Participation in moot court and the UJ Law Clinic gave her early insight into real-world legal practice, while her roles as a 2024 faculty peer mentor and house committee member at Impumelelo Ladies’ Residence honed her leadership skills. Even when challenges threatened to derail her, Mokoena credits self-motivation and faith for helping her push through. “This achievement means the world to me and my family,” she said. “It shows that resilience and determination can overcome any obstacle. Education can uplift an entire community and inspire many.” The University of Johannesburg celebrated the milestone on social media Tuesday, posting a striking portrait of the young graduate alongside the caption: “19 and already an LLB graduate.” The post quickly drew congratulations from across the country, with followers praising her as an inspiration for students from rural backgrounds. Mokoena’s next chapter includes seeking articles and practical legal experience, with plans to pursue further studies when the time is right. Her advice to fellow students is simple yet powerful: “Stay self-motivated and believe in your ability to make a difference. Dream big – God will fund it.” In a country where access to higher education remains a challenge for many, Mokoena’s achievement stands as a beacon of what focused ambition and institutional support can achieve. The Faculty of Law at UJ has wished the young lawyer every success as she begins her career championing justice.

I will take stick here but if we all think about this in a rational way if Enzo does leave it might actually improve the team. Palmer and Estevao are incredibly difficult to replace. The team needs to be built around them. I don’t want to see a RB invert to help Enzo’s lack of mobility. If you play a 433 then one of Estevao and palmer don’t play. If you play a 4231, Enzo and Caicedo can’t co exist. Love Enzo. Think he is a brilliant player. Just don’t think he suits the Prem and this team. Every manager who has come in has to play weird formations to cater for Enzo and protect him. The major caveat of this situation is will our SD’s replace him sufficiently if they do sell him (huge issue) The optics would also not look good. But in the long term, with the right replacements in (Rogers and a proper holding midfielder) it might actually help us long term. This could come back to haunt me but no emotions attached, it might help the team be better. 🤷🏽‍♂️

After watching Julián Álvarez yesterday against Real Madrid, Chelsea should break the bank for him. Chelsea will be better than Arsenal next season with him and one of Sandro Tonali or Bruno Guimarães. These are the kinds of transfers that can take our team to the next level.

Game day! 😱 Sorts out the real fans from the rest I think. Plastics want individual players or the coach to fail to prove they are right. True fans want the team to win regardless and will happily accept being proved wrong if it brings 3 points. 🤞

@kartk_7 @thechelskikid They arent profiting on anything the 10 year mark for them to take anything from the club jas not yet passed... they are an investment group all they know is finding loopholes to get an advantage...

@CFCMorty @thechelskikid Man, you're such a tool. It's not like they've publicly and explicitly stated that the club wasn't very well run operationally and that they're going to do things better. Meanwhile, all they've done is find loopholes to "profit" off everything.

Whatever I think of these owners (and it isn't a lot!) I do give them credit for self reporting the irregularities. Could have been a lot more serious if they had eventually been independently uncovered imo.

@thechelskikid @kartk_7 U are speaking to an empty can Pete what u said won't register in their heads all they understand is fake rage... this past week has shown me how much our fanbase has deteriorated, having standards is fine but being negative about everything is that truly being a fan of the club

@kartk_7 That doesn't make sense. Trashing Roman who is adored by the majority of fans will simply alienate them. The only way anyone is buying into the 'project' is through results. Nothing else.

@CFCMorty @PamelaNjoku2 But it irritates me when our players get accused like this. I'll ALWAYS challenge it to stop people believing this BS. It is basically accusing them of being traitors. Why would a player risk earning £50 to pass on information? A family/staff member might but not a player.

Remember when Alejandro Garnacho was accused of leaking Manchester United’s lineups? There were constant leaks in 2024; talk of brother chats, aggregator links, and even an internal probe under Rúben Amorim. Then Garnacho left for Chelsea in summer 2025… and suddenly the leaks around United seemed to stop. Now Chelsea have had their first major pre-match leak in a while, with their XI appearing online before the UCL clash with PSG. Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior said the blues will get to the bottom of the situation. Chelsea are reportedly investigating the leak, and some fans can’t ignore the timing. Coincidence… or a pattern?
