Fiji will always hold a special place in our hearts. During our time there, we linked up with St Tabitha’s Greek Orthodox Orphanage, who became such an important part of our journey in this beautiful country. Over the past ten days, not only did we have the chance to make an impact through our presence, but the local community also made a lasting impact on us. Their support for our squad at the ground and across the week made them our 12th man. This club is special, and we will continue to give back to the community both at home and whenever we proudly represent the badge away from home.

We’re giving players full-time opportunities, staff real opportunity + additional work, and growing the club properly on all facets. While other club and academies promise, we’re seeing South juniors step into first team football.

But also, differences in ground availability made a random draw and clubs being forced to work together sound like a good idea.

More recently, Oakleigh forfeited a Dockerty Cup game against South that was to be played at 4:00 on Orthodox Easter Saturday.

A win for our code!

Small update on this one. After almost 90 minutes of debate, Councillors did vote to go ahead with the contract to put the lights in at JH Allan. It's incredible that we had to rally so many members as part of the advocacy effort for work that was contracted. It was an honour today to visit Woodford International School in Honiara, where our players and staff spent time with students, talking football and sharing plenty of smiles along the way. Moments like this remind us how powerful the game can be and a big thank you to everyone who helped organise the visit and welcomed our group so warmly. Did someone say Six Seven?
