hoping one day there is more of the vibe here where it’s more about the art. but there’s many ways to look at and answer this. your art is or should be enough for you and your patrons. adding layers of innovation is also great and can expand your audience. but it’s easy to get lost in the rabbit hole so keeping things simple has merit. sometimes innovation can just be storytelling, puzzles and maybe a touch of generative randomness etc. have you seen @Theminthouseio ?
