@ClanDucks Any refunds would've been issued 3-5 working days after we received the tickets.  When only a portion of the journey is cancelled, such as the outbound or inward train, a partial refund may be given.  I can't discuss your refund in detail without going through security check...

Is #trainline trustworthy? This morning my journey was listed at £51. I went back 10 min later and it was £20 cheaper at 2 different times. I tried to buy . All sold out. Seems dodgy to me. I'll try booking with the train co itself. @thetrainline

@thetrainline hi, I bought a ticket via you for 10.18 Preston to Chippenham arriving at 14.54 via Wolverhampton. Due to changes and disruptions I can’t go via my original route so am having to make my journey up as I go along. Will I be eligible for compensation via delay repay?

@thetrainline is such a scam company. Yesterday, me & my partner tried all day to purchase tickets on different browsers, apps, even on the West Midlands site and just got hit with an error message. The price of the tickets have now doubled and they won't discount even with proof

@thetrainline I went on your app this morning to book my ticket, it said buy again so I clicked the option for my travel and it booked my ticket, yet the ticket it has given me is one way only and NON refundable. I have only ever bought a return journey, I cant afford another

@markhzll Hi Mark, Seats are applied to bookings automatically based on preferences and availability through the National Reservations System. This is managed by the operators, and we only have access to it if a passenger contacts us requesting an amendment to their seats. Thanks, -Leah

@thetrainline Why have you double booked seats on today's 1640 from GLC-EUS which were originally purchased on another site on 11th February, causing the original purchasers to be moved despite having limited mobility? Stop double booking seats, you don't deal with the fallout!

@thetrainline I had a journey booked from Liverpool lime street to Worksop. The 20:51 train from Liverpool was late which then made us miss our connecting train that departed from Sheffield at 22:43 and was also the last train home for us. How do I go about getting compensation?

@thetrainline - my mum has booked train tickets, CAR-EUS, on the 08:05 service on Sat (9th May), returning on Mon (11th May) departing at 12:40. She took out insurance as was not sure if this was a trip she could make, which now she can’t. It’s not letting her claim her refund?

@thetrainline how does this work out? All the trains cancelled, I get an email saying I will get a refund if I cancel my travel. Have to get picked up 35 miles away from home and I’m not eligible for a refund… sort it out.
