NOW: @CMDROpAtLargeCA says the subject approached agents—They attempted to disarm him but he violently resisted. A BP agent fired defensive shots, the subject was pronounced dead at the scene. He had 2 loaded magazines and no accessible ID. Bovino says, “He wanted to do Maximum damage and massacre law enforcement”
The officer was highly trained according to the agency—He has been with BP for 8 years—Extensive training as range training officer and less lethal officer.

My working theory is that the ammo (like the rifle) was extremely old, probably sitting in his grandpas closet/garage for many years.
The degradation of the powder might have caused a velocity shift that didn’t show the same results that we expect from a 30.06 round.
I’m an online gun retard though so dont take anything I say seriously 👍🏻

This is the minimum body armor required to potentially stop a 30-06 and even with NIJ level 4 body armor most rounds would still pierce and cause damage. Not only was Charlie Kirk clearly not wearing a bullet proof vest under his white t shirt, he definitely was not wearing this.
The ricochet theory makes no sense even if it was this vest because he was basically shot horizontally. The 3 degree elevation of the sniper would not create any type of angle. The round would either dump all of its force and make a giant softball sized hole, or it would pass thru the flesh clean and dump all of the force wherever it hit after. The idea that a bullet larger and faster than a 556 round (AR15) would stop in a small bone and not create a giant hole is the absurdity equivalent of insulating your home with a strand of hair.

There are those of us wanting the truth and those of you unwilling to push back against people like this guy and Bolling because they were close to Charlie.
It would have been better for this guy to say nothing than to deny an exit wound from a .30-06 that penetrates 20-30” of ballistic gel before coming to a stop.
If this were a direct hit to Charlie’s neck from the alleged .30-06, it 100% would have blown right through.
This is on par with Bolling saying Candace hasn’t been in at a TPUSA event “in many years” when she was at several last year.

I want to address some of the discussion about the lack of an exit wound with Charlie. I’m usually not interested in delving into most of this kind of online chatter, and I apologize this is somewhat graphic, but in this case, the fact that there wasn’t an exit wound is probably another miracle, and I want people to know. I just spoke with the surgeon who worked on Charlie in the hospital… He said the bullet “absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round. I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.” But it didn’t go through. Charlie’s body stopped it. I mentioned to his doctor that there were dozens of staff, students, and special guests standing directly behind Charlie on the other side of the tent, and he replied: “It was an absolute miracle that someone else didn’t get killed.” “His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too.” In the end, the coroner did find the bullet just beneath the skin. Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him. Remarkable. Miraculous.

What you’re hearing IS two distinct sounds, and no it’s not an echo.
The first higher pitch“gunshot” isn’t a separate shot from the first, that sound is the supersonic crack of the bullet as it breaks the sound barrier. And then you hear the lower tone pop of the bullet actually being fired shortly after.
At that close of a distance it’s very easy to hear it as two gunshots because they sort of overlap eachother, one doesn’t end before the next one begins, so it sounds sort of like a double tap.
