@LabRatKnatz @RetroV2024 Definitely replacing caps, already done some but the ground layer is strong in this one

@RetroV2024 @ThisOldTech2 Nice find.
Poor thing (in OP's pics) needs recapping, though.
Likely, well-worth the effort; even to resell.
English

@RetroV2024 Probably worth the effort for a recap of the bulged ones then eh? I've got some done already.

@ThisOldTech2 this is apparently also a extreme overclocking high FSB capable

@willreil if you want to build something for me, PM... I have a simple circuit that would be lovely to have made (and others would order it too)

@Cuddles3312 I was wondering the same, but given the "replace the whole chipset & ram" approach, I bet it would be hardly have any bottleneck compared to other boards with the same chip/ram/cpu... if I come across a CPU module though, I'll ping you.

@ThisOldTech2 Most likely unattainable these days but would be neat to compare it to an AM2 native board to see if it was even worth it back in the day
English

@Cuddles3312 I bet they didn't sell too many of them... it's a neat option, but the system would have been descently fast for the time as-is

@ThisOldTech2 I have one of these boards and have been looking for the CPU add on card for a while now

@Video_Grabz Huh, guess this old thinkpad missed its chance LOL

Amazon Drive (formerly Amazon Cloud Drive) was a secure, consumer-focused cloud storage service for photos, videos, and files that officially shut down on December 31, 2023. It provided 5 GB of free storage, allowing users to upload and organize files across devices. The service has been replaced by Amazon Photos for image/video storage.

@OnyxCrack Well, I recapped this one and it's currently behaving

@ThisOldTech2 electrolytic's are so close to the hottest part of the board.. I wonder why they all failed 🤔
