@ThomasDougherty Most productions never reveal how much footage actually reaches the edit bay. The 237 hours in the clip isn’t what was edited. It’s the total 65mm film negative exposed during production.

@soonrightaway What. Listen to the vocal only audio, it shows that Mercury was a vastly better vocalist than Bowie (note I say vocalist, not song writer, Bowie easily takes that one).

i think of Under Pressure, where i always thought Bowie made Mercury sound ridiculous on his own song

I always remember Cliffhanger as this trite, disposable Die Hard ripoff from the early 90's, but there's more bolder artistic choices in it than the majority of direct-to-Netflix garbage we get nowadays.
