@TheNoiseYoutube The replies to this are alarming. Are these answers reflective for the majority of the Eddie in lot? All mangers listed are better than Eddie.
Question for the Eddie in cult
Is Emery a better manager than Eddie?
Because so far in the last month I've been told;
Alonso isn't
Maresca isn't
Mourinho isn't
#nufc
@Im_RobM Be careful you'll get a job in Eddie's coaching team with a selction like that
Eddie
"Woltemade at RB? Why didn't I think of this?
"Dan Burn at RW? That's a creative new way to keep him in the team! I LOVE IT!"
"Pope in CM? I don't doubt his close control at all! Perfect fit"
@JB_NUFC@NUFCEdge All up for hearing y ppl want Howe in or out but it’s more than a bad season, it’s horrendous and damaging. Without even going into the details of why it’s been so awful, just as a top line: it’s the worst season we’ve had since promotion in 2017.
@NUFCEdge It’s his 5th season and this is his first bad one, we won’t get relegated and I think that warrants another chance.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think that’s why people are still willing to back him.
I still, genuinely, cannot wrap my head around the fact that some are not in support of moving Eddie Howe on.
4 years of work, spending 3/4 of a billion on HIS OWN PLAYERS & we’re currently at risk of relegation.
It’s just not acceptable & there has to be a consequence! #nufc
Mad to think how crucial those last minute winners against Leeds United and Manchester United have turned out for Newcastle
4-3 winner in the 102nd minute and a 2-1 win with 10 men have cushioned the club from serious relegation talk…
#NUFC
Alan Shearer waxing lyrical about Harry Kane and how Bayern have players in and around him
The exact way our manager should be using Nick Woltemade
You understand just how far away Howe is from proper managers when you watch teams like this
Chalk and cheese. #nufc
@Jim21093@CRG196754@ben_east99@geordiejosh You’re saying he was subbed off, hardly changes the narrative. The run of form coincides with Nick being up front and then not being up front.
@ThomasMoyse@CRG196754@ben_east99@geordiejosh Sigh
Those “wins” include games when he had left the park by the time we won the game
The run of form patently coincides with Bruno’s injury
Howe has it in for Woltemade, you can just tell.
Answers in the media compared to other players, eg Anthony somehow professional footballer Elanga.
And don’t get me started on subbing him on every single time we go a goal down with about 5 minutes to spare, clueless.
@geordiejosh Howe’s chatting breeze. Wolt hasn't started up front in 3 months - we’ve lost 8 out of 11 in the PL since.
At home in PL with Wolt at striker:
9 games, 20 points (2.22 ppg)
with any other striker at home in PL:
8 games, 6 points (0.75 ppg)
@craig_426@geordiejosh It’s not strange if you look at the numbers. Wolt hasn't started up front in 3 months - they’ve lost 8 out of 11 in the PL since.

@geordiejosh Or maybe he’s not showing enough in training to warrant a start?. This obsession with Woltemade is strange. One purple patch doesn’t make him the saviour

Sounds like we’re better with him
@CRG196754@ben_east99@geordiejosh He’s been in the team plenty not just when 2-1 down and as culpable as anyone in performances, we’ve played a lot better without him this season than with him.
Elanga hasn’t been constantly played. He’s been in and out the side.
@TalkOnTheToonNU@CraigHope_DM Nick’s not been given a chance recently. Drop Osula because we haven’t won the last 2 wiv him up front. We win more with Wolt up top. Howe said it was hard for other strikers coz when he was playing Gordo there he scored - 3 goals from open play in 15 months.
@CraigHope_DM Osula has played best recently so he should start. He’s showing signs of promise and is scoring now. Why would we drop Osula at the current moment?
Unless you play Osula on the right hand side, he should be the one playing up top right now!
🚨 Eddie Howe on the absence from NUFC XI of Nick Woltemade & Yoane Wissa...
🗣️ “Like with every player not playing they have to show their worth on the training ground and I think that’s their shop window.
🗣️ "For me to pick them is how they train and how they commit to the training, and how much they are prepared to put individual disappointment to the side for the team to then come back fighting again. It’s a gradual process, but I believe in both players still.
🗣️ "I’ve got no issue with either of them. I think they’ve got unique qualities to offer the team but it’s got to be on merit and deserved.”
Anthony Gordon’s performance against Crystal Palace spoke volumes
Eddie Howe struggling and fighting for his job at Newcastle and you have Gordon deliberately not committing for 50 50 tackles in a must win game
Don’t want players here that won’t be committed
#NUFC
@AdamP1242 Then throw in all those players who are well past their best that Howe keeps hold of, it’s a mess. Always hoping either the entitled players turns up or the those who are past their best have a moment.
Eddie Howe deserves the criticism and obviously hasn’t been good enough this season but you do genuinely feel bad for the bloke
Anthony Gordon wanting out in the summer while purposefully not putting 100% in and keeping himself fit for the World Cup with other players probably doing the same
Team stinks of entitlement and arrogance, some players think they are better than they actually are, some players only turn up for glamorous fixtures and some players even have their agent advertising summer moves during the season
Time for a huge reset, clear out the egos and bounce back with a stronger squad
#NUFC
@DomScurr@LiamJKennedy23 Makes him not playing against Sunderland on the week and now playing for Italian looks even more sus. He wants back to Italy which is fair enough I just hope he doesn’t take his foot off the gas a little it make sure it happens

❌Sandro Tonali will be allowed to leave Newcastle United at the end of the season if the club miss out on Europe.
⚠️Man Utd & Arsenal on alert.
PENALTY GATE
I shouldn’t even need to post about this given the great win we just got but it’s impossible to ignore given the reports that came out earlier about Woltemade considering his future, seeing these images it’s very obvious he’s not 100% happy.
And who can blame him? He’s the Germany number 9 and Eddie Howe is playing him in midfield after dropping him as a striker earlier this season. And let’s be absolutely clear he’s playing as a centre midfielder NOT as a 10 despite many wrong opinions on this.
That alone is disheartening and damaging to his career given his role for Germany. It’s quite baffling how the Newcastle fan base are just overlooking this as if it’s normal to sign a number 9 and play him as a centre midfielder. Imagine Sesko or Ektike doing this? It’s mental. We signed him for a record fee & Howe was absolutely clear he was the main striker.
Anthony Gordon was stat padding against these farmers with ease, people will say that’s grounds for him to continue up front despite the piss poor opposition and track record over the last year but obviously this was a very weak opponent. 1 goal in open play in 13 MONTHS against premier league opposition, 4 goals in 45 minutes against a pub team - great night but it doesn’t disprove the last 13 months.
Gordon bagged a hat-trick and refused to give the 2nd penalty to Woltemade, after both Woltemade & Trippier asked him to do so. We were out of sight & Gordon came across as someone who couldn’t give 2 shits about anyone but himself despite Woltemade playing a role that sacrificed for the team. Not the first time Gordon looked like he didn’t want to help Woltemade this season. The issues between the two are now clear as day.
Woltemade looked absolutely GUTTED after the second penalty as seen in the image. He knows as a “striker” he’s judged on goals despite Eddie playing him in midfield. This was a perfect opportunity to give him a role up front and get more chances and Eddie still stuck him in midfield. A vote of no confidence…
Nobody could blame Woltemade for leaving this summer as his career is going backwards under Eddie Howe and that’s a FACT. #NUFC
@NUFC Should have been offside, 2 send off instead on one and maybe even a few penalty shouts. What a stinker. Got to take advantage of the extra man in this second half
