@JB_NUFC @NUFCEdge All up for hearing y ppl want Howe in or out but it’s more than a bad season, it’s horrendous and damaging. Without even going into the details of why it’s been so awful, just as a top line: it’s the worst season we’ve had since promotion in 2017.

@NUFCEdge It’s his 5th season and this is his first bad one, we won’t get relegated and I think that warrants another chance. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think that’s why people are still willing to back him.

I still, genuinely, cannot wrap my head around the fact that some are not in support of moving Eddie Howe on. 4 years of work, spending 3/4 of a billion on HIS OWN PLAYERS & we’re currently at risk of relegation. It’s just not acceptable & there has to be a consequence! #nufc

Howe has it in for Woltemade, you can just tell. Answers in the media compared to other players, eg Anthony somehow professional footballer Elanga. And don’t get me started on subbing him on every single time we go a goal down with about 5 minutes to spare, clueless.

@CRG196754 @ben_east99 @geordiejosh He’s been in the team plenty not just when 2-1 down and as culpable as anyone in performances, we’ve played a lot better without him this season than with him. Elanga hasn’t been constantly played. He’s been in and out the side.

Eddie Howe deserves the criticism and obviously hasn’t been good enough this season but you do genuinely feel bad for the bloke Anthony Gordon wanting out in the summer while purposefully not putting 100% in and keeping himself fit for the World Cup with other players probably doing the same Team stinks of entitlement and arrogance, some players think they are better than they actually are, some players only turn up for glamorous fixtures and some players even have their agent advertising summer moves during the season Time for a huge reset, clear out the egos and bounce back with a stronger squad #NUFC

PENALTY GATE I shouldn’t even need to post about this given the great win we just got but it’s impossible to ignore given the reports that came out earlier about Woltemade considering his future, seeing these images it’s very obvious he’s not 100% happy. And who can blame him? He’s the Germany number 9 and Eddie Howe is playing him in midfield after dropping him as a striker earlier this season. And let’s be absolutely clear he’s playing as a centre midfielder NOT as a 10 despite many wrong opinions on this. That alone is disheartening and damaging to his career given his role for Germany. It’s quite baffling how the Newcastle fan base are just overlooking this as if it’s normal to sign a number 9 and play him as a centre midfielder. Imagine Sesko or Ektike doing this? It’s mental. We signed him for a record fee & Howe was absolutely clear he was the main striker. Anthony Gordon was stat padding against these farmers with ease, people will say that’s grounds for him to continue up front despite the piss poor opposition and track record over the last year but obviously this was a very weak opponent. 1 goal in open play in 13 MONTHS against premier league opposition, 4 goals in 45 minutes against a pub team - great night but it doesn’t disprove the last 13 months. Gordon bagged a hat-trick and refused to give the 2nd penalty to Woltemade, after both Woltemade & Trippier asked him to do so. We were out of sight & Gordon came across as someone who couldn’t give 2 shits about anyone but himself despite Woltemade playing a role that sacrificed for the team. Not the first time Gordon looked like he didn’t want to help Woltemade this season. The issues between the two are now clear as day. Woltemade looked absolutely GUTTED after the second penalty as seen in the image. He knows as a “striker” he’s judged on goals despite Eddie playing him in midfield. This was a perfect opportunity to give him a role up front and get more chances and Eddie still stuck him in midfield. A vote of no confidence… Nobody could blame Woltemade for leaving this summer as his career is going backwards under Eddie Howe and that’s a FACT. #NUFC
