Why would anyone ever buy a Windows PC? My $1,500 Macbook Pro is 10x more reliable than the multiple $3,000+ PCs I've bought Every PC I've owned has broke within 2 years. Even my 7 year old iPad is significantly more reliable Seriously, why would you ever buy a PC?

Follow-up: Why are manufacturers allowed to sell cars that can go WAY faster than the fastest legal speed? Why aren't speed governors deployed (as they are on e-bikes) to ensure drivers don't exceed certain speeds? Why aren't drivers who go super fast punished more severely?

The highest speed limit in the United States is 85 mph. Can anyone explain to me why basically every car and truck driven in the US can go faster than that on any public roadway? (Freedom is not an acceptable answer.)

I took an @Uber today and for the first time was offered a NYC yellow cab. I thought good for Uber supporting the cabbies. I asked the driver about his experience with Uber and he surprised me by saying it was bad. He explained that even when the passenger agreed to pay a tip to the driver on the Uber app, the driver did not receive a tip and Uber kept the tip for itself. I said that this could not be true so he asked me to test it. When the ride finished I added a $5.00 tip. His screen showed that I paid no tip. The driver was right. In short, Uber is massively increasing its margins and profits in NYC by ripping off NYC cab drivers. I texted @dkhos Dara from Uber midday today and sent this photo of the driver’s screen. He did not respond. I like Dara, but this is really bad. I can only assume that Dara is unaware of this. Uber needs to immediately return the stolen funds with interest to the NYC taxi drivers and to other drivers in any other markets where they are doing the same and they should deeply apologize. And Uber should restate its earnings to reflect this overstatement of margins and profits. This needs to happen now. @ericadamsfornyc Mayor Adams, I am sure agrees.

I enjoy driving. A good car makes it fun. When I can't drive, I take an Uber, problem solved. What is the robotaxi solving? Who's the target market? I don't get it.

🚨 TESLA LAYOFF NIGHTMARE , Part 2. Did you know that Tesla employees are offered significant incentives to lease a Tesla vehicle? Example, employee leases a Model 3 and is reimbursed a percentage of the lease (40-60%) back on their paycheck. They’re also offered discounts on Tesla insurance. The worst part? Since the “discount” is a reimbursement on your paycheck , once you are laid off it goes away and you’re left paying the full lease payment and since you’re unemployed, how will you swing that? This program needs to be overhauled immediately. You can’t fire someone and expect them to pay double their expected lease payment going forward. All other manufacturers offer it as a straight discount and you keep it after separating from your employer (dealer/mfg)
