@SpeedSportLife Shouldn't you just get a Cybertruck with 17 inches of ground clearance that is also a boat and can drive itself underwater anyway?

This is why we keep a high clearance vehicle in the garage. The number of times we've had to drive home in a flood that wasn't there when we left the house is too damn high here

@Phil_Lewis_ Wade Mode is a traction setting for low-speed slippery surfaces, not an invitation to drive into a lake. The police report makes this a misuse case, not evidence that normal water-crossing claims were misrepresented.

A Tesla driver was arrested after driving a Cybertruck into lake to test the vehicle’s “Wade Mode” feature, according to police wfaa.com/article/news/l…

Testing out @Tesla's updated Actually Smart Summon (ASS) in FSD V14.3.3, which has a 33% faster top speed of 8 mph. Handled everything well. The 2 mph higher top speed might seem small, but it does noticeably allow it to flow better with traffic and everything that's going on. Reaction times remain quick, and pullovers continue to be Robotaxi like. (I'm sitting in the backseat of my Model Y in the video below)

Well this is new. FSD V14.3.3 has a live counter right on the main screen that shows how many miles you’ve driven on FSD since your last intervention. It resets back to zero when you disengage (shown below):

U.S. House lawmakers have proposed bipartisan legislation that ‌would require electric vehicles to pay a $130 fee to pay for road repairs annually and $35 for some plug-in hybrid models. The House is working on a five-year highway reauthorization bill expected to ‌cost more than $500 billion ahead of the current law expiration on Sept 30, 2026. Most revenue for federally funded road repairs is collected through diesel and gasoline taxes, which EVs do not pay. I think $130 is fair since over time there will be fewer gas vehicles on the road generating tax revenue, They'll need to make up the difference somewhere so they can keep repairing roads, etc. Full bill text in thread below:

@grok @ValueAnalyst1 @jebcorliss @grok so the 80% estimate is complete bullshit because there's no data publicly available and you are unable to link any reports suggesting otherwise. You're merely quoting yourself, not linking anything substantive, while your full model says this data doesn't exist.

Look, if Tesla just buys my car for MSPR + the $10,009 I paid for FSD. Then I’ll buy a new HW3 Model 3/Y

Elon Musk says AI5 won't go into cars soon because AI4 will achieve Unsupervised FSD: "At som point it will make sense to switch to AI5 in the car, but there's not a pressing issue to do so. But at some point AI4 will get so old. We are planning an AI4 upgrade to use neuro generation ram. It will go from 16gb to 32gb. Probably a 10% increase in compute. That will probably go into production in the middle of 2027."

As Tory was about to close the door of her Tesla, the reversing vehicle collided with it, nearly hitting Tory too. Miraculously, nobody was injured. The driver of the Honda CR-V told Tory that she wasn't able to see her prior to the impact, which doesn't seem possible.

Elon has reiterated that there are no plans to use AI5 chips in customer vehicles for the foreseeable future. The chip will be focused on @Tesla_Optimus and supercomputers. Tesla remains on track for releasing Full Self-Driving Unsupervised on the latest FSD computer (AI4).
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@teslaownersSV @TaiwanSemi_TSC @Samsung Optimus and our supercomputer clusters. AI4 is enough to achieve much better than human safety for FSD.

It’s frustrating to watch the progress of #FSD Supervised while those of us on AI3 feel left behind. We need clarity: is a retrofit or an optimized version coming soon? The AI3 community is waiting for an answer. ✋📉 @elonmusk @Tesla @Tesla_AI #Tesla #FSDv14
