Australia's diversity is our strength. And I’m proud our team is as diverse as the communities we represent. Different backgrounds, different perspectives, all making us a better government. On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, we’re committed to making sure every Australian feels safe and respected. No matter what language you speak, or what faith you practice.

@TraceyLee_07 Well if he was an electrical apprentice he would have had his funeral years ago. He really isn't that bright so he wouldn't have got an electrical apprenticeship anyway and thats a good thing for him and catastrophic for this country. He would have excelled as a tip attendant.

In the past decade, these kinds of news headlines went from maybe monthly to definitely monthly, then maybe twice a month, then weekly, then a few times a week, now we’re very close to daily or even multiple examples per day. And they’re just the ones that get media attention.

For the first time in years, Australia will draw on its fuel reserves in an effort to fix shortages brought on by the conflict in the Middle East. The new measures will free up hundreds of millions of litres of petrol and diesel. @telester @MarlinaWhop

abc.net.au/news/2026-03-1… Acid rain? Corroded engines? Damaged equipment? Bowen lied. He said fuel supplies were fine. Then today he backflips and decides to call it a fuel crisis So he’s going to lower standards. So typical of Labor They’ll blend our fuel with higher sulphur fuel known to increase emissions, produce acid rain, corrode engines and damage mechanical equipment. Labor is sending the B-Grade fuel to farmers and regions Interestingly Petrol-Spy confirms the ACT has NO fuel shortages

This man is probably a decent person but he is a good example of the One Nation problem…slogans like “only way forward”…..no details on where the gearbox is. Compare with @spenderallegra in Press Club today outlining policy details and debating substance rather than grievance.

Bob Hawke sworn in as Prime Minister on 11 March 1983. After Labor’s landslide victory, Hawke set out to bring business, unions and government together to drive economic growth and national consensus. His government delivered landmark reforms that reshaped Australia, including introducing Medicare, establishing the Family Assistance Scheme, and laying the foundations for universal superannuation. The Hawke Government also passed the Sex Discrimination Act 1984, a major step forward for gender equality in Australia. A legacy of reform that continues to shape Australia today.

Well I voted him in and I’m voting green from now on. I do like Stephen Miles in Queensland though I hope he gets in but I voted green in the last Queensland election and I’ll be voting green again next time because fuck Anthony Albanese and all of his sycophant fucking followers
Bernard Keane@BernardKeane

Albanese hopes he can dispel political alienation and curb polarisation. With his enthusiastic support for Trump, he's doing the opposite. The result might be Labor sinking to Coalition levels of support. crikey.com.au/2026/03/11/ant…
